I know the saws I "need" and the saws I use and the 4218 doesn't fit either category. Yes when I had 1 saw it did it's job as the limbing saw. It's a quality saw but I don't have a need for it. CAD doesn't always win. The use for the saw beats the storage of it. I'm sure I'll keep it though lol

My old saws run without any of that autotunem which I know nothing about. I guess I will keep what I have until I die. Dont mean I wont pick up another one or two at the right price. The one thing I do want is a good pole saw. Any recommendations as to which one.

Autotune seems weird to be but I'm 28 and still don't know how to work the printer. I use a smartphone but don't think it's smart. My fiskars doesn't think for itself neither does my wood furnace and I'm sure log splitter don't so y should the saw?

Good as in cheap? I'm happy with my $180 Remington polesaw, it just needed to be tuned as it came tuned ultra lean from the factory. It would be nice if the shaft was about 4' longer though.

Re Autotune: I've had great luck with both Husky AT and Stihl MT. My ported 550 is an absolute blast to run and Carl made it run as strong as any woods saw I've seen in that class. Perhaps if I had landed an early model I wouldn't be singing the same tune.

Actually considering the kobalt electric. Wife already has a weed wacker and the batteries interchange. $99, worth a chance for one or two uses a year.

I have a T540xp autotune that cant seem to tune itself. I left it at the husqvarna dealer last week to see if they can fix it. It runs great if you can get it to tune itself. But it rarely ever runs. It's the only problem I have had with the huskey saws.
You have a ported 550. Get a ported 372. All your other saws will be spare saws. Those 2 will keep you smiling :) from ear to ear.

If I had to rebuild the fleet from scratch the big saw would probably be a 7900 but wouldn't complain about a 372 either!
