Just a thought as I seemed to have aquired a few extra saws over the last year...

How many saws did you have before you ever learned about this site?

Me, I had two Husky 365's and a husky 55. I surfed the site for about a year before joining. Got a 066 shortly after coming on here. And turned one of my 365's into a 372. After than I went down hill, fast.

My 5100 was an impulse buy that I bought with a christmas bonus, and only bought it becuase it was so highly viewed on here. I was so inmpressed with it, I picked up a blue 7900 shortly after.

Bought and sold a ton of saws since then, and still have a few more I need to weed out, but right now I'm having seperation issues. LOL.

So how many saws did you have before coming here and what do you have now?

Originally, a MS390.

Now,.........ummmmmmmmm, I'd rather not get into that ($$$$$$$) :blob2:

HaHa!!!

Husky 61

I blame the saws in my sig, (and the many others not listed) on this site!!!

I had just replaced my friggin' poulan (the one still in a 5-gallon bucket) with an MS290. All others have come thereafter. 'Cept the Pioneer, shich ain't mine, just stays in my garage.

i kept it simple and cheap:

My sig saws, and after reading mannny threads, I could have repaired my 360 on my own, and saved some bucks.:bang:

I'm thinking I was a closet saw freak before I found this site and did not want to admit it.....:blob2: But after hanging out here for a while I see that I am not alone and it is OK... cause their are some real freaks on here that are freakier than me!!   I have actually a few more saws than what is listed in my signature,,,, but I have to confess,,, since Ive joined the site I have bought a couple more 066's project saws, well errr,,,,, maybe three or four,,,,,,,,, and my stihl dealer has been selling the fire out of the 441's to the local loggers and I have to admit,,,,,,,, I sure been thinking about an early Christmas present for my MS440 Project saw!!!!!!!!! see what you started Freak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Geeze Im really kind of glad the nearest Dolmar dealer is over 80 miles away!!!!

Merry Christmas Everybody   :chainsaw:

The same saws I have now, still haven't bought anything yet . A Stihl 021 and 029 Farm Boss. I have made some changes to my saws for the better since joining this site, gotta a lot of information from the site.

My 021 had a 16 inch bar and PM1 chain on it. I switched to a 14 inch bar and PM chain. It probably cuts about 1/3 faster and doesn't bog down as much as it did before.

My 029 had a 20 inch bar and RM2 chain. I switched to a 18 inch Arbor Pro narrow kerf bar and Woodsman Pro 20NK chain. It definitely cuts faster with the narrow kerf set up, but more importantly it feels A LOT better now!

The main reason I came to this site was to get information about the Husky 353 and Stihl MS280..........and I just can't leave! I've asked a lot of questions and have received a lot of advise. The 353 is going to be my next saw!

4 new over this last year :greenchainsaw: :jester:

When I started here I had a John Deere 50V, purchased new, and a 2nd hand 272XP.
Its been down hill ever since. at last count I had 68 Saws.
My last purchase was a Dolmar 5100S, I am trying to cut back but I think I have an addiction problem. :dizzy:

Started with an 045 John Deere and a McCullogh Eager Beaver....then I was forever changed after I bought my first Stihl. After that I found this site and the rest is history. I lost count of how many saws I have owned in the past but now just concentrate on the few that I have now.

:greenchainsaw:

I still only have the one saw but this site has made me look around for at least one other and I dont really have any use for one. I have just become fascinated by the things !

That's ok, it didn't stop me from buying my 5100 before I had found a good dealer... Glad I did!

440 project....whatcha thinking.....I know what I am.....

I had the same as I have now, minus the 372xpg that I got yesterday....:D

There are a few more than those listed in the sig, but those are small and more or less out of commission.....:pumpkin2:

The Jreds sure look nice, but I don't understand how you put up with that silly handlebar angle (or rather, lack of it). :biggrinbounce2:

Well, each to his own....:rockn: :rockn:
