Come back to this thread one year from now and tell me how many more you have.....

You should not be included into the tally, as you've not been here long enough.. The bug hasn't bitten yet...

You definitely have a point there. No argument. lol You see, my will power and self-control have not yet been tested in the fires of adversity presented by you guys opening your raincoats and whispering "Pssssst! Want a chainsaw?" :ices_rofl:

Had a 394 xp when I came here, and bought an 034 after I'd been here a while. Weekend woodcutters buying more than two saws are not right in the head, imho.

Just what are you trying to say here? Dems fightin' words! Seriously, I know I got it bad. I quit updating my sig about 7 saws ago, I have 5 apart and 6 more waiting their turn on the bench. They keep following me home from the shop and if I ain't mistaken they breed when you leave them sit on the shelf.

I had a mere 5 saws when I joined here, Echo 670, 2 Roper-Sears 3.7, Dad's `lil Homey and an 028S. The rest as they say, is history.

550 EVL and a 330EVL. The 550 was havin issues, lol

I also had a one bar nut craftsman in parts, in a sheetrock pail. ;) Stihl there too, pos.

Ya gotta put the bar covers on! :hmm3grin2orange:

I had an ole' Holmlite 360, an ole' Mac, a Stihl 034, and a ms260 Pro. Purchased these new and still have them.

I will admit that I've been wicked keen on purchasing another one. This site has instigated my L U S T for another saw. Yes, I am lusting.....

A poulan 2000 bought new in 94 and the used poulan 3750 that made me find this site, to learn how to do a topend. Now look at me I am just a mess with all these saws.

My will-power must be pretty good - the first new saw after close to two years and 4000 posts here have just arrived......:yoyo: :yoyo:

I hadda 036 (still my favorite) and 210 Stihl, a Mac mini 35 and Mac 610 that was wrecked. See list below for progress.

I bought my 353 from Bailey's before coming here... then I found this place and that Bailey's was a sponsor, which was cool.

Bought the saw, so I had to com ask plenty of questions so I didnt ???? something up:popcorn:

Before: JonnyRed 2050
After: MS361, PS7900

"Honey, those guys at Arboristsite say that I need at least a 6.3 HP saw for limbing and then for bucking the "big" stuff...well, then I need something with a little more power. They know, buttercup, they're the experts. So wadya say?"

Infected but not sick...........yet!

What a relief to see my brain is on a similar track to you hardened saw buffs. I just joined this site recently, as I needed info on fixing my 1984 Husky Rancher 50...which I sadly learned is a relative antique when compared to where you guys are now.
I find myself lusting after the saws you discuss....but I can't justify spending the big bucks on the saw of my dreams when I am only cutting firewood for my home.
I am holding at my original....but give me time......I am on the lookout.....:D

Already posted here but...

So, I have more saws than what I even have listed here... And now I have discovered the need for a pole saw as well. Hopefully I can leave well enough alone and just buy (1). I will go to my local Stihl dealer for this purchase and not try to find used on the internet. Not meaning to change the topic on this thread just adding to where Chainsaw Addiction takes us...

This decision was made while I was up in a crazy twisted A$$ apple tree in my dad's yard, trying to finish off a partially fallen limb. I could have gotten from the ground with a HT101 or HT131. Not a climber, and don't think that is a skill I should attempt again.
