I pull trees over in reverse because I like to see what's going on and in all cases you don't go roaring off into the sunset at 50 mph! :dizzy:

You just get the tree falling, crikey, you don't like put 5 ton on it, if you had to put 5 ton on it you need a bigger 4wd or truck or pulleys to MA's.

The comment was that going in reverse puts more force on the front, but the rope going to the tree will act as if to lift the front up.

Anyway, I'm done with this thread, BigUglySquirrel, you seem to know a fair bit just do your thing, in fact, you puzzel me .... it's almost like your trolling.
 
Yeah...the thread has gotten a bit outta control, hasn't it? Ekka-you've got a good point with the actual force that is being generated by the process. Kinda makes the whole last page or so a bit of a waste. I did get answers to my question and that was the idea. Thanks to all who responded...I'm sure I'll have plenty more questions on down the road.
