No way! 2000 sq ft of floor joists?!!! Might as well take me out back and shoot me, lol:)

Spray it, not hard. Id leave it tho. I was wondering what you were doing, I always start with ceiling.

It's related if you want me to port your chainsaw anytime soon:greenchainsaw:

Cool. Keep up with the remodel pics. Im getting ready to turn the old rec room into our master bedroom and turn one bedroom into part of our living room. I love remodeling, its very fulfilling to me as well as adding value to the house.

I got another 9 1/2' framed up tonight. I hurt my back last Saturday, so this is the first I've worked on it.

Looking very nice! Let me make you feel better about the work, I think you said somewhere you are around 2,000sf on the project. I start one next week that is 1,853sf and for metal studded walls, plugs to code, drop ceiling, insulate and board+finish it came to $30,577@2% over actual cost! (no flooring work) So everytime you work on it, think of the savings!

Watch that back!! You don't want to end up like me.

Back trouble is no fun. Take care of yourself and let that back heal before you work it again.

Brad,
Looking good.
on the ceiling... I notice you already got light fixtures for a dropped ceiling or a grid ceiling... probably could do the ceiling in a weekend... and now the choices for tiles are quite numerous... plus when you want to add something above the ceiling.. just pop a tile.

Thanks. Dropped ceilings are something I've never done, or seen done. I'm sure I can learn though:)

Dropped ceilings are quick and easy, heck of a lot easier than drywall. They have lightweight t shaped frames that are suspended from the ceiling with light gauge wire. Once the frame is hung, you simply set the tiles in.
