Great Forum!
Was inspired to take the McCulloch Wildcat apart after visiting this forum. Got it cleaned up and tuned up. Running great, it actually idles finally. Worked on cars a lot have never really messed with chain saws.
In the process discovered the nuts holding the bar were stripped. Bought several nuts thinking I had the right size. Nothing fit. Finally took the saw into the local hardware shop. Nothing fit. People are thinking the threads may be beat up but really they look just fine.
Anyone know what size nut goes on those two studs?
