interesting saw to start. I can't get it to pull thru on the ground with my foot on the handle. drop pulling is fairly easy but it ripped the starter out of my hand a couple times. hurt like hell lol. figured out it's like my CR500. pull the piston past TDC and it likes me.
Oh yeah ,you definitely want an Elasto start handle.
She sounds good.
 
I guess that's all I can do as this has the limiters??
It's up to you as to whether the limiters stay in place. I suspect that most here would advise you to get rid of them. There are very good reasons to want to tune the saw outside the range imposed by the limiters.
 
I've removed them from other saws, but these are recessed in and did not want to pry out. decided not to break anything until I heard the right way to do it. I'm in Florida at sea level if that makes any difference. when I did the carb kit, I usually remove the needles to clean but these were not coming out.
