Oh yeah ,you definitely want an Elasto start handle.interesting saw to start. I can't get it to pull thru on the ground with my foot on the handle. drop pulling is fairly easy but it ripped the starter out of my hand a couple times. hurt like hell lol. figured out it's like my CR500. pull the piston past TDC and it likes me.
I have an elasto start handle on my 441 parts saw but the rope is thicker and a lot shorter than what's on the 044.Oh yeah ,you definitely want an Elasto start handle.
She sounds good.
It's up to you as to whether the limiters stay in place. I suspect that most here would advise you to get rid of them. There are very good reasons to want to tune the saw outside the range imposed by the limiters.I guess that's all I can do as this has the limiters??
ordered an OEM 3.5mm elasto start cord from ebay for the 441 handle to put on the 044. I think this is a good idea.Oh yeah ,you definitely want an Elasto start handle.
She sounds good.
