Those are some beauts Cliff.
There is one of those Macs listed close by with a bow on it, but the guy said its worth 800$ :jawdrop:

Barn fresh. This is a friend of mines saw that I'm going to get running for him. In the late 60's early 70's he ran the helper end of this saw with his Dad. It is in pretty great shape. Tank is super clean. "Should" be easy to get going again.

Sorry for the fuzzy pictures.

Just about the only real problem you could have is the Bendix Scintilla coils will split their casings wide open and your fire will jump out. But I have seen corroded reeds.
Very nice saw

Or the float may soak up fuel and become to heavy... But that can be fixed

Nice find Marty, Kingsley? think so to, or are they more interested in the trash can. haha

That isn't Kingsley. That is Kessler, Kingsley's son. When we sold the pups we told anyone who couldn't keep them to bring them back. Now we have Kessler. He is interested in anything I do. A GREAT dog. Biggest Sheltie I have ever seen and just a big loveable ough (sp?). I really want to keep him, but I have more convincing to do with the wife. Three dogs isn't so bad.

The kind words and rep are nice, thanks. I have a Mall model 7, and a Homelite 26lcs waiting the same treatment.

Shawn

Well I woud stop by Wednesday and drop of any parts you needed but since you never did respond when I asked you your location it will be tough. I will all over SE IA Wednesday with no idea where you are.

I got the line on a 2man electric homelite. the add says its huge and the guy wants 75 bucks for it. anybody have one?

I don't have one, nor have I ever personally seen one. I do know that Homelite made electrical equipment for all sorts of odd ball voltages and frequencies. Hopefully it is built for 110/220 VAC @ 60 HZ. May be worth checking into before you try to plug it in......The specs should be on the motor nameplate.

Bill, I apologize for not responding. Guess I didn't realize what you meant. The guy I got the 11 from thinks he knows where the rest of the handle is but hasn't had time to look. I'm in no hurry, its just going on the wall of the garage anyway. Figure it will be a good conversation piece if nothing else.

Anyway, I'm just south of Muscatine. Whats your location? Thanks for the offer though.:yourock:

So I would say you must be around Fruitland. I see someone re-opened Hoopes gas station. I hope it makes a go this time. The truckstops on that route never last long. If you remember the one John Meerdink tried years ago it went away quickly. He built it new then closed it within a few years Lately it was opened as a "adult" club only to close quickly. Taht strect of highway does not seem to good luck

Hi guys

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but any way....

Have any of you ever thought about making a modern 2 man saw....?
If you toke 2 identical saws and flipped one of them upside down and welded the tip of the bars together then you would have a powerful 2 man saw mostly for milling I guess but anyway it could be fun...

Is this already done...?
Or is this just another stupid Idea from the crazy Dane
