An Important Message Regarding Husqvarna™ Chainsaw Sales

Due to a recent policy change, Husqvarna™ chainsaws can no longer ordered online. For more information please call toll-free 1-800-322-4539

This is the part I was reading in that Bailey's ad...........

.

Told ya!

But can still be ordered over the phone from any Husqvarna online dealer. :taped:

Tommie,

I agree 100%, as do most in this joint, that Husky's position on 372XP availability is "unnatural".

By quoting my posts with the answer to a different question, I'm inclined to think that you agree with my posted position on the sudden change to the 441s reputation that correlates directly to the stocking dealers inventory position. I take it that you too, find it remarkable, or should I say marketable.

Now, say "Amen" or I'm gonna write a poem.

Knock and you will be knocked, axe and you will be axed,

Joat

LOL, AMEN Joat. Now that thats out the way being the Pres its my job to look at the overall big picture. I think what we have here is the pot being thrown back at the kettle. Ya see Joat for years and years and years, most likely since the beginning of time itself the Husky boys have shoved down the Stihl mans throat this. We have better vib system, our saws are smooth man. We got better air filtration systems too. Now the Stihl man listen to all that horseschit till he finally said ok. Then laws changed and Epa does its number. Along comes the 441 and now the Stihl man is shoving it all back down the Husky mans throat at last. Seems they don't like to swoller what they been spitting out for years near as I can tell. Ya see Joat that why I'm the Pres and your the speech writer. Now get busy and write the one about how its easier to spit than it is to swoller,LOL Note too that dayumm saw with 9 lives, I wanna see if any marketing laws were broken in that deal to unsuspecting buyers, I may want a refund my self,LOLOL

Into musicals are you Thall.

I figured you for a Barbra Streisand fan! LOL.

Still got that nose peeled in all this getting old stuff huh, love it don't ya,hahaha I figure you raising all the pansies down there in Ga you might be not leaning left but leaning over. Tell me Tree is it true you and Jane Fonda both fought for the same country?? hehe.

BTW Dan, Elvis is on channel 7 tonite, 2 hour special. Not your type of music I know but you should watch it. Get away from PEE WEE Herman Dan and give rock and roll a try, you might like it,LOLOLOL

Tommie,

Put down your shotgun and pick up the rifle. This is not a cumlative, from the beginning of time til now, all sins on the table type of thing. It's very simple. Single issue, that is, the stock level of 440s and 441s mirrors the AS rep of these fine saws.

Six months ago, when the Stihl shelves were filled with 440s, it was the greatest, not worthy to be the heir in the Stihl 70cc class.

Now, when the Stihl shelves were filled with 441s, it is the greatest and the new champ in the 70cc class.

My BS meter can only take so much. It's pegged. Or does Stihl have a new BS meter that will happily and safely register this extraordinary level of BS.

You may attempt to deflect or change the subject, but I'm not going to give you a pass. You're caught. Now, I'm over my limit, so I must release you back to your environment.

May the tepid Folgers satisfy and invigorate you,

Joat

LOL, first off during the so called time your referring is wrong. The 441 has been out for over a year now, not 2 months ago. Secondly I never owned a 044/440 before I owned the 441, I aquired a 044 after I bought the 441 so you can't accuse me of ever beating the drum for the 044/440.

Now onto real BS, this dayum 9 lives saw thats suppose to be the greatest thing since Folgers, blah, it is not. That saw had so much hype built up on this site I had to get me one. In my case the hype was much more than what the saw was. I recall the famous words of Ben when he said the 441 is nice but its not a 372 and he is 100% right. The 441 built wise, fit and finnish outshines the 372 by a country mile. Performace wise they are equal. I must admit as Pres I shouldn't have fell for the marketing ploy by Husky. I don't regret it but it is what it is, a bunch of BS to sell saws. When you point the finger at the Stihl guys over the new 441 verses the older 440 you must admit as well Stihl did not need both on the market nor did they use ploys to sell more 440's like that other camp did. What they did with the 9 lives saws was amazing I must admit,LOLOLOL

Now where's my poem Joat. Stop arguing and get to work man,LOL

nasty

It got nasty in here quick...decided on the saw iam gonna get out of the 2...youll just all have to wait about a month or so and youll get the pics...

Tommie,

Did you actually read the posts that I've made. If not, get Demi to read them to you.

I don't know anything about the 440, 441 or 375. I'm sure they are all good saws. I'm inclined to take your word about the quality and finish of the 441 vs. the 375. This is ALL about the rep and hype that the 441 gets now vs. 6 months to a year ago. Seems to dovetail nicely with what the Stihl dealers have in stock.

Demi, you looking over Champ's shoulder? Thought so. Now queue that Dire Straits song I told you about. And no, I won't say a thing to "Tender Tom" as you call him.

Tender Tom, listen to the song, several times if necessary. Now, in the morning, fire up the Folgers, check your stock level, and move, move, move them OPEs.

Come in the back room for a little coffee,
Andreous says we gotta move the O P E,

Do you need a new trimmer or a blower,
Just pay the list price cause I won't go lower,

We got a chainsaw of each and every size,
Once in the backroom they always buys,

Gimme all your dollars, pennies and nickels,
I'll give you a shiney brand new cremesicle,

If your O P E breaks now don't be nervous,
Just it bring back to Tommie for service,

I sell you a Stihl, I'll wrap up one of each,
Come on vacation with me to Virginia Beach,

I drink the Folgers and the Stihl Kool-Aid,
If I don't sell from stock then I don't get paid,

You may believe everything I say and I wrote,
But I just can't seem to fool ole Joat.

You do realize that most of the people touting the 441 currently are people who haven't had a saw of that size before right? I.E. me.

Ok, thanks guy's for the history lesson on Stihl & Husky, but since I no longer have a Husky dealer within 150 miles it's kinda irrelevant.
By all the post's skirting the question of bringing a 441 to life at elevation (thank's Joatmon for saying you didn't know), I assume that it must be a sea level saw. I guess I'll have to look at a 460.

I had to laugh about the comments about marketing ploys, since our Stihl dealer went up about $100.00 a saw since Husky quit selling online.:deadhorse:
