addicted to chainsaws
addicted to laughter
my 1970 GTO is gone
that's not a joke
and it damn sure matters

you can run your electric car near and far
you can cut out gas with a cordless chainsaw
but what they never will be able to do
is replace my GTO and the girls who sat in it
with all their hubris of "let's save the planet"

some will say 'this guy is off his rocker'
just bake him a cake from Betty Crocker
to which i say
did you watch the movie - 'Meet the Fockers"

Today is Sunday and you may 'think and nod'
that from my previous poem
this man has no fear of God!

but to this i can attest and will never let go
that long ago God did save me from that GTO

pedal to the metal that car did rock n roll
therefore HE 'saw-thru-it' to save my lost soul

UP in the TREE where no man can cut
is the Tree of Life
where HE placed my dear life

so please remain calm and chill
there is so much more to life
then the best looking car
and the fastest cutting Stihl

made my day - ty

my day begins when a dose of laughter is injected into my brain whereby the mind awakens to realms previously unkown...........

some call it insanity

i call it longevity........

killing time waiting for the solenoid to come in

i use to play hockey so i do tend to push things a little
So go take the old one off.

i just notice you are 'prowling the pine barrens'

Did you ever spend time camping at night there looking for that Jersey Devil???
Well I heard a horrible blood curdling scream one night at Mt Misery could have been a Bobcat or something Ill never know. Even if you had a gun you would have been shaken.

Best evidence i watched was from a family that lives down there who actuallly saw it up close and they took pictures.
They called the police who investigated and confirmed the tracks on the snow covered roof could not of been faked.

The police said the same thing to the homeowner as you did = "keep your guns loaded and close by, do not leave the house without them."

I have gotten away from Stihl for the last 10-12 years. This 400 saw looks like a perfect one saw plan to me though. I have owned a 361 and 044s through the years. I am guessing 440 performance with maybe 361 weight? I don't need a new saw, but these are tempting.

i have a Brand New MS361 that i want to take out of the box but just can't do it

Stihl now makes a pure-carb 362 and a pure-carb 462

Will they make a pure-carb 400?

Because once i get this 400c running i'm selling it and and buying the carb 362 to replace it

FYI - the 400c was given to my son so i told him it is going to be sold because he needs something more reliable

If you just want/need a 'one-saw' saw, imho = 462

unless you really want to stay as light as possible, which would be a custom modded 261

as you know, it all depends on the use and user

I have more than one saw, but I use my 550xp as my one go to saw. I can see where the extra ccs/ power of the 400 would surely make it a better 1 saw plan. I think the 16cc advantage would be well worth 1 extra pound.

When they came out with the 400c i was like - "YEAH BABY"

We purchased one and i was not impressed at all.

As i said in my previous posts - my cs-590 with muff mod beat out the 400c - barely by a second or less

BUT - the 400c was new and only a few tanks thru it

imho - 67cc Stihl should out pace a 59cc echo and it should not be close
