How about a 57cc 261 = NOW were talking
I'm telling you there's something wrong with it. I wouldn't give the 362 a second look when I ran the 562xp ams after owning the 400 wouldn't give the 362 the time of day.
I could get behind that. I do like the 261 as far as a 50cc goes.

Can you and lonewolf call my Stihl Dealer and let him know this and that i have nearly lost my mind and that they should take it back on a trade for a 462 for $700 out the door

Got some snow pushing in as I type this. If I get done plowing early enough tomorrow, my son and I are going to get a new MS362C/MS400C. Still not sure which one we're gonna get. If we go with the MS400C, hopefully we can get a 22" B&C. Guess we'll see.

Get the 462 - its better saw by far
I have the 462. A guy brought a NIB 500 to the GTG we had here at my place. The guy didn't bring a bar so we threw a 20" on it. Granted it wasn't broke in but I wasn't impressed compared to my 462. A few other guys had the same opinion after running both.
Get the 400. Never ran a 362 that was worth a ****.

i was cutn wood and a guy showed up with a 500i with a 25" bar
now i'm cutn with my muff mod 590-20" and timing my cuts(sight n sound)) then watching/timing the 500i
the hockey player in me said, "go over there and challenge this guy saw for saw"
i was about ready to do it but then the 'Good Angel' said: "now David, do not provoke your neighbor to wrath by displacing his $2,000 joy with a $400 echo......"

1.) resurrect the MS200T
2.) 201T = 40cc
3.) MS261 = 57cc
ECHO
1.) 2511T needs the 271T motor = easy exchange
2.) 620p needs the 7310p motor
3.) make the 7310p a 80cc for the love of God and us men here on earth
Should these things take place we can then establish a national holiday to give thanks
Oh and Echo, your saw is of the devil with 'Bad Vibrations' emitting from it - clean up your act
