If we get the 362, we're getting it with a 20" B&C. If we get the 400, I'd like to get it with the 22" B&C. I guess they're not that common though. Have to see what the dealer says.

NYH1.
20 in on the 400 is nice that's what I run. I believe a 24" is next up. That seems out of balance to me.

as you know, the point being made here with 28s is that of torque

if a lightweight 50cc saw ripping with a 28 in big wood = pure delight with a 20 on it
So is that your mission to run a 50CC saw with a 28? Go mill with it and watch what happens soon. More CC's for longer bars! Nuff said! No replacwement for displacement. Need a bigger saw buy one. 500I is light enough would pull that 28. You sure you are old?

I prefer the MS362/MS400 over the 562XP. They feel better to me. And it's a pound heavier than the MS362 and it's definitely noticeable. I'm looking for something to go between my NE346XP and my 365XT.

NYH1.
Thats a matter of opinion. I never noticed the lb of difference between the two. Even on the scale they were under a lb in difference with fuel and oil in them. Thats semantics in the greater scheme of thing imo. The power difference between the 562 and 362 is absurd. The 400 is the only "60"cc class saw that competes with the 562. Its truly what the 362 should have been.

400 all the way baby!

the 28 is a MARKER that determines how much BETTER the saw will cut with a 20

If i were not in pain all day = the 462/661 would be my combo

The 28" bar doesn't determine shite on a 50 or a 60cc saw unless your in soft woods. Good lord man, your gonna have a slow cutting saw competition with that big of a bar.

will be testing 4 different saws all with varying cc's

therefore the burden is on the 400c which is 'new tech' and has the highest cc = 67

it would be only fitting then to put a 28 on vs my 6401 with a 28

also i am looking forward to the 400/28 vs my 501p/20
which is the compensation for a 17cc advantage
