Do your homework before you pick one to make sure you know what you need and what they offer. When those two things line up, both sides are satisfied.

Like any purchase, look for videos, reviews and testimonials to know who you're dealing with.

Thanks for the nod.

I’m backed up a few months. If that works, send me a PM. I believe Joe Red97 has some earlier openings. Tree Monkey is another that isn’t backed up. Both do an excellent job

There's many thousands of people who run Stihl Ultra at 50:1 without any issues.

Some people just can't control their anger and their arrogance when they talk about 2-stroke oil, and they lose sight of reason, facts, and data.
Who is angry?
You want facts and data. How about the fact that Ultra is a Jaso Fb rated oil? How about the fact that it's an ashless oil formulated like a marine outboard oil?

Right. Your screenshot only shows the 1 year warranty, but the Stihl promotion doubles it. 2 years with the oil purchase.

"At the time of your equipment purchase, simply purchase a six pack of STIHL HP Ultra Oil or a minimum of one gallon of STIHL MotoMix® premixed fuel to qualify for the double limited warranty coverage."
Yeah sorry I forgot to add the double your warranty sales pitch part of their site. I Hate the pdf, and they took basically everything else off their site thay has to do with warranty limits, but I digress. I think you said you got a 4 year warranty with oil purchase, so I just wanted to make sure your dealer didn't feed you a line of bull.

Didn't know tree monkey was still porting saws yet. Thought he had some health issues?

I’ve seen saws run on Ultra where the the guts were nearly spotless. But “usually” there’s excessive carbon. Leads me to believe that it has to do with the fuel being used. You’ll never know if yours is burning clean or not without looking inside, and not just through the exhaust port. Most other oils appear to leave things cleaner inside and less buildup regardless of the fuel. Given the price, there are just better options of equal or less cost to the user.

20 in on the 400 is nice that's what I run. I believe a 24" is next up. That seems out of balance to me.
We have a 20" and 24" b&c for the 365XT. My son likes it with the 24", I like it with the 20". He runs it more than I do so we usually just leave the 24" on it.

I've only held a MS400C with a 20". I've held MS362's with both 20" and 24/25". I like the 20" a lot better. I figured a 22" would split the difference. Haven't found one though.

NYH1.

I would not run Ultra at any ratio in a two cycle motor..warranty be damned. Or I suppose you can purchase the oil and then throw it in the trash where it belongs.
And most FD oils are very similar. Any good oil will allow you to run 32:1-40:1 to one just fine.
They never did say I had to actually use it! ;)

the only 22" bar i remember was a Poulan

No one really care about that... do they?😳

Occasionally you'll read a little canola oil kerfuffle or used motor oil shenanigans but for the most part no one cares about bar oil.

But 2 stroke oil... That's the Holy Crusades of anger and idiocy where people just come unglued and go at it.
