Just for your information the Frankenstien 372/371/ what ever other parts fit placed 10th at Webstersprings, WV in the small Mod class... Buildem on Thursday race it on sunday! Glad to hear you are happy with the saw. It's got more under the hood if you want to race it but that will take some work.

Brian, glad that you posted so that we know you are alive although I don`t for a minute believe that Dan didn`t somehow get ahold of you. I however know that you aren`t too thin skinned and you`ll hang where you want to.

when i got the saw ,it really was a strong smooth saw.. when i got it back after being in whats his names hands ,
i just assumed it was alrite.. then crap started falling off all over it..somebody had had it apart and forgot to tighten most of the nuts dn..
i will say its helluva saw now..even without time in ,with the saw ...
everybody wants to think theirs is the best.. so do i..
i stopped an started jawing with a tree company crew, today.. but the boss said he didnt care much, what the best was ..
long as his boss didnt get complaints ,an such..in other wds his men needed to start working an quit wasting time..
which i understand.. as,, if i wus paying the salaries,id be the same way..
chill out everybody .. besides we all know i got the best ugly saw out there..

That saw of Tony's was all over the country as a demo saw. I never had that saw here from the time that it left here, until Tony sent it back to me. I did say that I had my doubts about the barrel being mine. That saw went straight from some Eric guy in North East Pa to Tony.

I thought that it was suspicious when the last man who had the saw wouldn't give it up. I wasn't even sure that Tony got the same saw that left here. Who kept the original barrel, I don't know. I do know that every saw except the very first saw that I built for a AS member has the barrels, pistons, crankshaft, crankcase marked so that I can ID them. That one wasn't mine.

i can gurantee what dan said is a fact.. thats the first time i recall seeing that eric guys last name..it was on the ups sticker..
dang i guess i missed some stuff ,that im kinda glad i did..as there seems to be an undercurrent that i wasnt aware of here.. but this is a gift saw,,
its a very good saw..woodsjunkie and
rick i think,, all saw it run ,at dans.. they all emailed me,and said to be happy i owned it..be very happy that i owned it.. and i am..if it blew up monday,, id still be glad i once owned a saw that cut with this power..
now if yall will remember ,when i first got the saw to demo .. i posted that something was wrong and i thought it needed adjusting to my climate cause it would not run right..so i think that testifies that ill tell the truth about it even if it hurts.. then i realised the choke had come loose in shipping..
its all been good from that point,except mabe a little lack of knowledge,, about just how many nuts were not even tightened dn, when whats his name finally sent it to me....im also gonna say here, that on looking back at what happened ,i think it was used hard the whole time it was gone
