The was cuttinscott describes it it sounds like a knockoff of seafoam.

On a side note I bout an 83 blazer 2 years ago that hadn't been run in 6 years and started it on the crusty gas in it without adding anything to it. I have NEVER added anything to the fuel on any lawnmowers or anything and always fire them up in the spring.

I Am NOT pushing this product on you.... All I said is it makes my day easier.
I have tried seafoam and did not see the results I see with this. ALSO this product is nothing new its been around for years A guy that used to work on snowmobiles in the sixties and seventies was in the other day and remembered using this back then.

Jhellwig I am glad you need no additives must be you get a better supply of fuel in Ia. than we get here in the east.

I want to try their diesel product in my backhoe. I have been using the BG 44k and their bio diesel additive along with pump diesel(not red). I have emailed them asking about a website to buy it off of. Their NC/SC locations are too far for me.

I stock the diesel version as well had great success with it as well we UPS every day. Same price as the gas formula. They also offer 1 gallon containers if you desire.

Scott

I don't see prices on your website. 16 ounces is fine for me. You can pm me or post a price on (1) 16 ounce of the gas and (1) of the diesel shipped to 28352.
thanks

Scott, is there any practical difference between FA and Sta-Bil in gas that never gets more than 2-4 mos old?

What's the shelf life of FA and Sta-bil? The bottle of SB I have has been in the barn for about a year in temps from 5 to 95.

Sta-bil says 2 years once opened on the bottle, with nothing about temps. After a year, the opened bottle develops little clumps (or at least, my last one did). I wondered if they would dissolve in gas so I tested it and yes, the clumps dissolved in gas.

2-4 months doesn't really need sta-bil but it shouldn't hurt anything.

We have found that FA is the ONLY additive we use and sell.... IT WORKS......... With todays fuel I do say its a must. Its a shame its not marketed better.

Ray overdosing does no harm to the engine so exact measurement is not needed.
It works as a stabilizer and makes old unburnable fuel burnable.

We use it in all new equipment that leaves here. esp. mowers and tractors.

FA also sells a diesel additive that makes that also works as a deicer and lubricant for the NEW LOW SLUPHER DIESEL

Give it a try...

Scott

Some of the sales pitch for FA is just crap:
With Fuel Activator, RPMs, horsepower. efficiency and performance are increased. You are now burning more of your previously wasted gasoline. This means a lower hydrocarbon emission. Engines run 10 degrees cooler. Fuel Activator is non-flammable, has a lubricating quality, and does not contain kerosene.
There's a reason why modern day vehicles have such high temperature thermostats. It's so the engines can run hotter and do a more complete burn on the fuel. FA seems to think they can magically lower the engine temp by 10 degrees without changing the t-stat, and this magic lowering of temperature is going to make the engine burn the fuel more efficiently. Okey dokey. :jester:

This one is just stupid:
Fuel Activator is a gasoline stabilizer. It homogenizes your gas and prevents it from turning into gum and varnish, keeping your jets, needle valves and carburetor clean.
FA "homogenizes" the fuel? Without this homogenization, the fuel must seperate, the heavier ingredients settle to the bottom, and the lighter ingredients stay at the top. Does anybody know where the fuel pickup is in a fuel station's underground storage tank, or above ground for that matter? It's about 4 inches from the bottom of the tank. Think about this nasty situation of seperating fuel, and think about how fuel is stored at a gas station. C'mon FA, give me a break.

I wonder how the Diesel Activator Diesel Fuel Conditioner compares to the product from Power Service? I like to use Diesel Fuel Supplement + Cetane Boost in the winter, and Diesel Kleen + Cetane Boost in the other months. If FA expects to compte against the big boys like Power Service or Standadyne, they better get a little bit of data on their site to back their claims. I think I'll stick with Power Service, thank you very much.

Your on to something here!

There are "NO" gimmick products!

There are far far more that don't run any think in there fuel with success then those that do , and blame there success on the wonderful product!

Sea Foam is not a gimmick, it is a cleaner, developed as an additive way back when we ran a lot of "non-detergent" or AD oils in everything, including AC . They could very well be adding isapropal to Sea-Foam , 13 bucks a pint, it think there is a little room for a profit there?

Come on guys... Lets not get carried away here. Gatkeper1 had asked if anyone has had success using fuel activator. YES I HAVE believe me or not I don't really give a RATS A@@. All I can say it this product has made my days go easier and has made many customers of mine very happy. Its a shame that in this day and age that we have such CRAPPY FUEL out of our local gas stations. COME ON NOW GUYS do you really enjoy having a storage life on gas of about 3 or 4 weeks????? That is what we have up here in the northeast with the additives they put in our gas today. Has anyone siphoned gas lately?? Ive seen gaterade with more kick:buttkick: :ices_rofl: BUY IT DON'T BUY IT I DON'T REALLY CARE, I DO BELIEVE THAT IF YOU HAVE FUEL ISSUES ITS WORTH A TRY.

Scott

The more you mention fuel issues, the more confused I get, is it just bad gas there selling there? Cause if that was the case, you would see mobility problems, problems with fresh gas, FA dose not spend as much time in there sepal about improving fresh gas burn properties.

If it is a water problem, add some Isopropyl Alcohol, 99 cents a pint. water problem done.

If gas is going bad from sitting, separating, it may have way to much butains suspended in it from new, and there is nothing your going to pour in there to stop that from happening, but again, your highways would be cluttered with vapor-locks first warmest day of each week. What is the RVP of your gas there? (pressure at 150 deg.)

I am not sure but I think I remember the FA from the 70s and guys then seemed to like it. Back then I used to buy 104 octane Sunoco at the pump and I never kept fuel around too long becuase it wasn't expensive to replace it
(correction 120 octane at the sunoco custom blend pump)
Scott do you put a few drops in the equipment's tank?
Or do you mix a little in your shop gas cans?

What does it smell/feel like?

The puzzling part for me on the website is the non-flammable non-toxic aspect

An MSDS would tell alot and I just wonder why tehy do not post a link for their MSDS

I'll try anything because we are in the same horrid fuel supplier zone

I have never been a fuel stablizer user because I have seen what happens after the stabilized fuel goes beyond it's lifespan.....it makes a hard varnishy green coated mess of carburetors.

I do not recommend any liquid stand alone stabilzer no matter what the brand

I have had to tell too many people that their carbs need complete cleaning or in some instances that their chainsaw or large brush cutter scored a piston due to stale fuel and have them yell @ ME that they use sta-bil and that isn't supposed to happen

Sounds like we been to the same "Snake-Oil" skool.
Yup, unsustantiated claims from the manufaturer and anecdotal "evidence" from a distributor just don't get me all tingly for some reason...

Hey, this thing flooded out. Must be bad gas! I put snakeoil2000 inthe tank and let it sit for 20 minutes nad by gosh and by golly IT STARTED!!! I didn't even have to rebuild the carb on this one!!!"

yeah, OK...

I guess it's real easy to convince ones self of a preconceived notion, huh?

sorry, Scott, but I just can't get on your bus with this one...

Anybody rember cow magnets from the "70's"?

Put them on your fuel line and it would blah, blabla blah, blah.....

Yes, now that you remind me of it, that was back when every Ford "motorcraft" carburetor had a leaky power valve diaphragm, and every Rochester Quadrajet had leaky Welsh plugs and every Thermal-Quad had shrunken main-body to base plate seals, mileage took HUGE diggers when that happened, those that duck-taped magnets all got better fuel mileage they claimed,,, funny how they still smoked black when they put there foot in a little ways? The mechanics that fixed things , and got a lot of happy costumers, noticed that a lot of them come back in a week or 2 with a 12 pack of beer, or to just say thanks, for fixing it "right"

But that was before "Happy Start" , now there making magnetic bracelets, wonder if that gives them happy-wrist?
