at 15 quarts every 5k miles, oil isn't somethng i runout of, just got to find a source for tacky additive that isn't priced like gold, by the troy oz.
Note: dino oil itself doesn't wear out but the additives do. Right now I have about 5 different brands to try of bar oil, Problem, even if one works well the seller like Menards will likely have changed suppliers, so then back to sq one. I have machine tool way lubricant that I buy in 5 gal pails but the price of that stuff per gal is more than gold plated Stilh or even some of the Bio lubes. If a bar oil is acting too thin I mix it 50/50 with the way lube. that helps, but sorta pricy.

Some place about a month ago (maybe rural king) had it online for 16.99 for two gallons and was running a special for free shipping when spending over $50. Something you might search if you want it that bad and in larger quantities.

I haven't checked recently, but I bought it for $8.95/gallon a few months ago. Maybe the hurricanes changed that.
Yeah, it's $15 at my TSC. What is the current price at your TSI have not checked lately, but a few months ago, it was $8.985/gallon. Maybe the hurricanes changed that.

price varies by location 30miles west of me $7.49 30 miles east and it is $8.99, I bought all I could lay my hands on earlier when it was on sale which also varied by location $5.49-$5.99 :surprised3:

A friend did

3 trips hes said.

Looked like my carts when it was on sale for $5.49

Another store customer was purchasing a quart of bar oil $6.49, when I pointed out that the gallons were on sale for $5.49 he stated that a gallon was way more than he needed:omg:. I should have offered to sell him a quart of mine for $6.00 :crazy2:

Rural King does not sell Harvest King bar oil.

I think you have to get it from Projectfarm Industries.
That's odd because they sell it in their Florida stores, or did.
I bought several gallons a few years back and just ran out a few weeks ago.
