Just re-did a 330 As well Last month. Thing is a SOB to get apart for the first time haha. The simple green is pretty good. I like the Mean Green Better myself. its cheaper and works better i think. Those hands dont look old how old are you? Im a youngin' learning the trade of saws myself.

Yeah, i think i will next time. I think that was the whole point of having me work with him though to be challenged, you know what I mean. But it is really a hassle trying to get all of that crap in the corners of the chainsaw. Also it seems like the chainsaw i have is way more complicated than it needs to be. What would be an easier brand to work on?

I got several!

Mostly old lime green Poulans but there are some Partners, Husqvarnas and such thrown in the mix. I only have one Homelite left right now though.

My dad has 2 of the Homelite 330's and he likes them alot but he's getting to where he can't run one much anymore.

He tends to like the smaller Stihls a lot!!!:jawdrop:

Tell him maybe you're done working on it until that little detail is worked out. If need be, we'll set you up. I think hes yanking your chain, but you can't work for free. Unless its on your saw.
So are you still a Pisces, or did you get changed with that new sign thing? My birthday was Tuesday, the time between Feb 28 and March 2. Every fours years I gets an extra day. Its not my fault we need another day then, they could have put it anywhere, but they put it there, so I'll use it.
Yeah, you get that one done and you'll have to help your Dad with his, it will have some issue or another, they always do, and then you can get your next one.

I'm one of the "other" teenager working on a saw... 18. My project is a Pro Mac 850. Going to pick up a saw from my eye doctor soon, lol. Had an appt. yesterday and asked him if he had any old saws laying around... sure enough, he said he'll take a look and also mentioned a lawn mower and a snowblower... mommy's a little concerned now, cause I got CAD now...

Good to see more guys like me that want to save old saws from being scrapped.
