thanks Aaron but the shaft is broke off flush. hvn't looked at itclose but it looks like the assy un screws from the handle , am i correct? looks like the muff needs help to. i'll box up the 1120 parts this week end. and randy mc needs to answer his pm so i can send the carb for that monster yellow saw.:msp_wink:
The whole button/plunger assembly unscrews from the handle. Do you have an IPL for these saws? How about 4th or 5th Ed Homelite shop manuals? Those are the two that include a section for these saws (4th only has 650, 5th has both). I can PM you the links to download the 4th and 5th Ed SM's. Will need your email address to send the IPL however. PM me your email address if you need the IPL. I can send you Randy's address if you need too. What saw of his is that carb for? His 790 that I have needs a carb.............preferably a Tillotson HL19 or HL103. Has a defunct shatback on it now. I'll be handing him his 790 soon. Brought it back from the dead (using one of my carbs to see if it'd run). It could use a RH start saw clutch hub with intact pawl springs (his hub has one dead spring..........and the damn things are riveted together).
