Ok Homelite experts, How bout a little help. The first two are a C-5(red) and a C-7(blue). The pistons and cylinder are good just need gone through.

Justin I agree with Keith. Looks to me like the orange saw is a Dayton branded Poulan 361-451 series saw. Measure the bore to determine which Poulan it matches. As for your Homelites. The red saw is the C-7 and the blue is the C-5. LMK if you need any parts for them. I have spares of most parts for them except P/C's and clutch covers. I know I've got a spike, pull handle, and AF cover for the C-5 at least. Do you have an IPL and SM for these saws? Can send you both. The bar on the C-5 is a tad 'ambitious' as well. I've got some shorter ones for these saws. You're welcome to one if you'd like. You've helped me a lot...

Wire snap ring removal

Guys I'm in trouble. I installed a wire snap ring on the wrong side (intake) of my C-72 piston. Any ideas for removing it without trashing the piston? TIA for any suggestions.

Robert
