You know you have my attention Zach!!!

New score? Congratulations. Glad to see yet another big Homelite in "the family" here instead of being busted up and sent to China for scrap. I'll trade you a somewhat crusty Mongomery Wards WD60 with a 25" roller nose for it. No? Didn't think so...

New score. 37" hard tip Homey bar.
Saw looks and runs great :dizzy:

Belonged to the City workers haha, so it wasnt ever used much.

Cant really trade "Dads saw" for the WD60 haha, but thanks for the offer :)

Ill have some cleaned up pictures later on tonight maybe.

Even Homie makes a 100cc saw? I will have to keep my eyes peeled!

NIce. Congratualtions are in order for the Smilin' Possum. Gotta find me one of those (or an XP1000 or XP1020), as well as a 1100/1130G, a 2000/2100, and a 3100G...:rockn:

I'm Waiting...Where is the rest of it????? What year is that an early 80's??? A 1050 is a 1050 but man I hated those clear stickers. They looked goofy and i wondered why they did that. How does that run with the SDC carb?

You guys know LP by now, right? I go and buy one of the cleanest complete non broken parts 1050 I've ever seen and he goes and posts it all over the place. He's jealous cause his is calf poop orange brown red and funny looking but it does run good. Better let up on him or he'll tell Mom on me. If he ever gets home maybe he'll post the whole saw, he even took the camera with him.
Joe

Rick, seems to run alright, havent put it in wood yet.
Wearing a brand new loop of Stihl .404.

Only small faults are the ripped handle rubber-see redneck fix above^
And the numbers the city engraved on the saw in 4 spots, I think one on the bottom would have been suffecient

May be ugliest saw on this site, but sure cuts good :)

And I agree the stickers look terrible compared to the decals/painted numbers.

The decals/paint on the bar is what I am after:cheers:

Oops, the decal paint thing was supposed to be on the other post about the 1050 stickers.

But yes Bill, the bar looks pretty nice. That one is actually stickers. Everybody talks about not running it to preserve it, but... Thats what they were made for right?

Im not sure if it is the roller tip or the .404 that makes these saws feel like they cut so much better than the old style chain.
