I felt the same way after I got to run mine. All the talk on here was that they were not all that great and a pain to work on. Well in a way they were right but I was surprised after I got it together. I had to replace intake boot, and if I recall the impulse nipple was loose in the case, had to fix that and a carb kit. After I got it going I thought it was a cool old saw and still enjoy cutting with it.Got my newly acquired $20 homie 330 back in action today. Last few pieces painted this morning. Onto the reassembly.
I hopped in a dumpster and pulled out 3 complete Homelites earlier this week. I managed to clean up and get these two running as is. A couple of new K10-HDC's will help.
