In case anyone is interested, I know that the Echo CS-510 has the one-piece case cylinder arrangement just like the Stihl 029/290. I believe the CS-520 is just a slightly bigger version of the CS-510.

One more vote for the 353. I have never used the Echo or Makita but I have used the 353. Nice light saw with decent power. You can cut for a long time without getting tired. You probably can't go wrong with any of them though. I am biased towards Husky.
