I tend to avoid auction that say they will end it early for a certain amount/offer. If they are willing to screw ebay, what means they wouldn't try something with the buyer as well? And my theory proved correct on this guy. haha

okay, i followed the original post but i missed the last episode. what gives

:agree2:
A little to pricey for my pockets.

Pricey? Oh yes .... But how many of them are still around? This could be that once in a lifetime item ...

NORMALLY, we get tools to be prepared for situations we may encounter. With THIS one, if you have it you'll go LOOKING for things to do with it!

Lewis makes chainsaw winches to this day, not hard to get at all.

Me thinx you're missing my point .....

If this Homelite winch is 'just a winch' .... then a '59 Corvette is 'just a car' ... ?

Not a question of how many winches are out there, but how many of these old Homelites ...

Along the same logic that a lot of AS members collect old saws ....

Now I'll throw the soap-box under the bench ....

On CL early in the week some guy had lots of power tools and stated has 3 chainsaws, 1 Stihl and 2 McCulloch and snowed hard this week couldn't make down the mountain. With the nice day today I called to see if he still had them...yep!! They were his dads saws Stihl 031 in the case, Mcculloch Pro 610 (Yellow Air Filter Cover) and a McCulloch Pro Mac 800 in cherry condition...and they all have spark..Priceless!! I offered the guy $80.00 he said that was to much:clap::clap:..but I wouldn't take any back it just how us mountain folks are.. PM me for photos on email as still can't load them here..sorry

076 and a True friend????!!!!!

I borrowed this chain saw from a friend to clean up some stumps on my property. After cutting through four stumps it quit; after bringing it to a shop they said I had blown the rings on the engine. it does pull over but will not start. I have no use or interest in trying to fix or repair this saw. It has a 36 inch bar with a good chain.

$125 OBO

Call Jeff at 253-732-8290

Wonder if he's buying him a new one??
