Does keeping a saw that long NIB ruin all of the seals and the rubber in the carb? I would guess that this would end up a garage queen unless you replaced all of the rubber/seals. If it was a Super XL Automatic I'd buy it.

I would think not, it's the ethanol that does it now. If it was straight gas I don't think it would bother it either. I put fresh mix in a saw that hadn't been run in 20 years and it fired on the third or fourth pull, adjusted the carb and away we went.

Yep Randy..............I agree with Randy. I have seen where new carb diaphragms have needed replacement from sitting for decades, but not the crank seals. A quick, cheap, and simple fix. Jeez.....we have too many Randy's here!:jester:

If the BIN was the the amount of his starting bid price (instead of almost twice that) then I'd be trying to talk you into buying that S E-Z Randy. You'd love that little saw. It'd be a great addition to your Homelite collection. Just too damn much money at the BIN price IMO though....

3 Gas Powered Chainsaws

nothing special and the price is right for something to tinker on:)

.....and there's a "Mchulluch" in the group. A person could get that saw, the Poulan listed a few posts ago ("one of the BIGGEST saws made", and a "BRUTE") and the "Home Elite" 240 listed before that and be all set! See, this thread is good fer something!:D

Anyone around there wanna grab that for me, for a case of their favorite evening beverage? my birthday is in 3 weeks!!

It would go well with my Super 6-10 and a pm700... :D

Make it happen Jay. It will bring joy and happiness. It also still has "McCulloch" clearly spelled on the decals.

My SP-81 goes well with my PM700 and 10-10A BTW............and my birthday is in less than two days...

OMFG... :msp_rolleyes: What in the bejesus would you need a 59" bar for in Utah????

Anyone else notice the 'automatic description' that ebay puts there makes the seller sound like he's a scammer from Zimbabwe?

 :bang:

I think they use 59" bar for trimming shrubs from inside the house:D

Maybe scam as there is zero feedback. I do nto think there is anyway I would ever feel comfortable bidding on it.
