Old 1957 McCulloch Chainsaw - $150 (Stroudsburg PA.)

Vintage 1957 McCulloch Super 44 Chainsaw, from McCulloch Motors Corp. Los Angeles Calif. It weighs in at 25lbs 6.3oz. It has a 18 3/4in x 4 1/4in bar measured from saw housing. Not sure but I think it is a 6.5HP model. Good compression and spark. It runs on starting fluid, but will need work on fuel system, possibly tank cleaning, and fuel hose. Sold as is 150.00 570 476 6327

Here is a rare Wright C70 116cc chainsaw. I restored this about a 3yrs ago has great compression ! From what info i had and where i got it at a barn sale, it sat since the early 70's . starts right up re broke it in for about an hour. I resharpened the old chain and had no problems going thru over 2' of solid oak.chains are easy to get and cost around $35.00.Don't ask me to do a compression check as my tester is broken, I am just going by feel on the starter. The reason I am listing it other than needing money is I have a smaller saw don't need a large one and just like antiques and it was a semi challenge just like a bunch of gravely s i had. This one has the dead mans throttle so when you let off the gas it shuts it off. You can get it to idle if you push the trigger to the side and let it drop down in the groove so that is not one of my favorite features.Below is a close up of the power shift button that advances the timing on the fly. Its lokated next to the oiler down to retard for start up to advance also just insid is a thumb wheel for mixture. to give an idea of the size of the beast I put it next to a standard windex bottle. new points,feed line and rebuilt carb also flushed out tanks. any questions call 973-634-5911 or email me
