Ford Chainsaw Camper Special RARE FIND! Runs Collection Vintage | eBay

Did Ford actually mount chainsaws under the hood of the Camper Special trucks? Can be yours right now for $1500 BIN:dizzy:

Thats not far from me if someone wants it, buy it and I'll pick it up and ship it. Neighbors had a camper special, many rides to school in it, though there was no mention of a saw, and there was none under the hood. Didn't most have a big block like a 390 or bigger? Also have most of the "tins" for a Ford saw, but the rest of it is gone.

That 3120 is going up quick for a bad picture and no description from a seller who just joined and this is their first transaction.

And a couple of those saws have what look like repair tags on them, which could mean anything or nothing.

This one is bugging me out...... There is a gear drive saw in the background of all this seller's listings... nice roller nose on it too. But they are not selling that one....

vintage skilsaw 1636 deluxe chainsaw/parts or repair/with bar and chain | eBay

Is that an 890:msp_confused: If you clikc see other items you will find more of it in the auction for the PM610

Sure looks like a McCulloch top-tank gear drive to me. Impossible to pin down which exact model by the little bit we have seen of the saw so far.

They're Oregon brand tips for the smaller bars found on older, consumer model saws from the 60's and early 70's.

The bars were usually 16" to 24" in length.

Yep. I have a few 18" and 20" Homelite and Poulan bars with those tips. My 28" McCulloch 10-Series Speed Mac RN looks like it has the same tip too. I need to take a closer look, as that bar could use a new roller.

Your Mac bar might have a 2.25" proprietary Mac roller nose. They some of their own smaller bars and contracted with
Oregon early on and then later Windsor for their longer bars.

Thanks Jacob. I will look closer. That bar came to me on a 1973 production SP81. That saw now wears a 32" Windsor ST.
