I'd like to know where the heck he found a 3/8" pitch sprocket for it.
That is a pretty damn good deal.
The latest craze on Ebay seems to be listing as saw as "not running in great condition".
How can it be in great condition if it doesn't even run?
I guess it could be a great looking saw with dirty points...

Went up to "the creek" Sunday and they had a rather poor selection of affordable saws...I did manage to come back with three saws, a 2z463b in great shape, a Super EZ, and a Homelite XL, the smallest version. All were very affordable. The rest of them that I saw were too expensive or were the plastic Poulans, not bad saws but I have several of them already.

The only Macs I saw there, and I looked closely, were Mini Macs. They had a bunch of them, all priced too high in my opinion. Anything over $5 is too much for them. Don't know what kind of tools you need but they looked to have that covered.
They're open on Saturday afternoon and Sunday, couldn't tell you which is best, I've picked up bargains on both days.

I don't imagine he can unless he gets some kind of special deal. If someone from the West coast buys it he's screwed.

Never tried cottonwood in the stove, but if anyone has a 20 foot bar this is the tree for you. Unless you know the difference between circumference and diameter, then it might be disappointing. firewood/ downed tree
