What is the diameter of the 353 piston? I thought it took the same topend as the 350, which is 44mm?

Went up to "the creek" Sunday and they had a rather poor selection of affordable saws...I did manage to come back with three saws, a 2z463b in great shape, a Super EZ, and a Homelite XL, the smallest version. All were very affordable. The rest of them that I saw were too expensive or were the plastic Poulans, not bad saws but I have several of them already.

No Old Macs over there?

How are they with tools?

I'm seriously shooting for October 7th ..

The only Macs I saw there, and I looked closely, were Mini Macs. They had a bunch of them, all priced too high in my opinion. Anything over $5 is too much for them. Don't know what kind of tools you need but they looked to have that covered.
They're open on Saturday afternoon and Sunday, couldn't tell you which is best, I've picked up bargains on both days.

Vintage McCulloch MAC 2-10SP chainsaw and carry box extras books chains wrench | eBay

That's a really clean looking McCulloch 2-10PS with a roller nose bar and some cool 'extras'. I have no idea how he can affort to ship that huge heavy box (with the saw and such inside) accross the country for less than $27....

People actually buy those things?

Who would have thunk it, I gave one just like it away. (without the cool extras) :hmm3grin2orange:

It went to a better home out in Iowa. :msp_thumbup:

if anybody is looking for the mother of all McCulloch's near boise i suggest you get on it cause theres one out there with your name on it....:eek:uttahere2:
