Like the 2101 the 621 is truly legendary. The very first "modern" saw on the market....when it first came out it was called the 62.....and was developed from the old 601.......at the time no one else had figured out AV or the whole piston ported thing.......most all saws were still reed valve motors......a Cadillac of saws. These are not a large displacement saw motor at 56cc or wicked fast but are very strong and will pull a 20" bar with full chisel all day long in hardwood and not break a sweat. They last forever.....they were spendy compared to US saws.....if I remember right around $350.00-$400.00 in the early/mid 70's. I could go on and on......I have 3...all very good running used examples.....and nearly enough NOS parts to build another one.....still missing a few bits.

To the poster of this fine unit......That one sure is nice...if you still have the box DO NOT destroy it.....and don't start it either....to the right collector, with deep pockets...having the original box will nearly double it's worth. As to what it's worth???? I would have no idea but $5-$600.00 wouldn't surprise me. Done right it can be a sellers market. There was a beautiful one on ebay a few yrs back....the guy built it from all NOS parts......did a great job and a super presentation...very nice photography....class act right down the line.....damn thing only brought $250.00 at auction .........I felt bad for the guy......thought it worth much more.....

Nice history lesson on the 621, Robin! I too feel sorry for the guy that built one from NOS parts...but in truth, that saw had no provenance to a collector. To me, I see no difference if done right and would pay accordingly.

If the OP's saw was presented properly with lots of pictures and hell yeah, a box and a healthy reserve on ebay...he should do well.

Not me . . . . I think the silver and red is sexy. That'll be the colors on my next project saw.

It's totally subjective Dean, admittedly. In actual use, faded silver looks pretty yucky....and the resprays I've seen are horrible. However looking at the NOS saw, the silver is quite striking.

Okay thanks for the help! I guess ill see what ppl offer me, looking to sell. Comes with the box. When I get a second, ill post some more pictures

Was that the big lot of oilers that went through ebay this yr in one auction? I saw that and thought about bidding, because it was priced right for what it was. But then it was like, what the hell am I gonna do with all these oilers? You're right, I've never seen a manual 111S oiler for sale...just the pumps. Is it a plunger affair like the Husky 2100's?

Kevin

I don't know what the 2100 pump looks like......but the 111 pump is very similar to the 80/90 pump just a bit larger ....operates the same...

If I bought that saw I would be soooooooooo tempted to start it and cut something down!!!!!

No, no, no no....that would be a very bad Dean...lol

In annals of saw perpetuity, that would be a definite shelf queen for that kinda money. I used to have a substantial gun collection and I had many original boxes of unfired handguns. However, I just had to take them all apart and put them back together....so you could see minor wear on the screws. Trying explaining that to a collector.

Well that's the manual end........the oiler end is somewhat similar the auto oiler....and the piping and fittings.....there's more to it than just where you push the plunger with your thumb........

That's all I was interested in, not the auto oiler or if it adjusts etc...just how they did the manual oiler. If I could see one up close, that would answer a lot.

Hey Fellas, I can't seem to find this info anywhere and I'm ready to order Cabers for the 90.
I'm not near the saw this week and I can't measure;

Are the rings 1.2mm or 1.5mm???????
