Your saw is EI. The points were in an enclosure between the flywheel and the crankcase.
I may have one, PM me the serial, model numbers, and e-mail addy.
I about broke something stopping myself from commenting on pointless beavers.
Went to Menards tonight for a board. They sell McCulloch? I thought that McCulloch was out of business. Do they have a website? I would think I could get the elusive "pointless beaver" IPL from the factory (maybe I have to recall my Spanish from high school however judging from the decal).

Still looking for an IPL for the "pointless beaver".

Thanks to everyone for all the help, this seems to be quite the mystery...
Why does everyones IPL list seem to stop at 600123_10 ?
I need a IPL for 600123_12 and it is very elusive.
snofrog - If no one else can find what you need try Bob Johnson (607 638 9297).
If he is unable to help send me a PM, I might have something available but his prices are more reasonable. I know for a fact I have a set of 0.010" over and may have stock ones as well.

Thought for sure you'd have found it in there? Try this list? You have to contact to get the cd I think?

Does anyone know when the eager beaver 2.0 went from points to solid state?
