It's weird when you go to someone's house and they say grab the hoover when all your life it's been called a lux.

I can vaguely remember sitting on hours while dad dragged it around the house ummm luxing lol
Definitely remember my sisters doing same thing. Still built well in the 80s

We grew up calling cutlery spanners. I think mum got it from our grandad who was an aircraft mechanic during the war.
Now that was awkward at friends' houses...

My grandfather was a very outdoorsy type man. Grew up in the mountains of southern wv. He called biscuits "a cathead". Made me laugh everytime. He said it as serious as any term for anyone. Pass me a cathead and the oleo! Lol

Looks like mostly mud and sludge in the tank, I rinsed most of it out with fresh gas.( new filter went in also)
It did pop on 1 pull but then my spring bend in the recoil came out . I guess my hook wasn't hardy enough.
