That'd be an adjustable wrench here in Morgan co. In. That often doubles as a makeshift hammer.
Wow is that messy...
We called that two things...1) Adjustable Wrench. 2) (its nickname for us) Mexican Torque Wrench. Standard issue in every tractor and truck toolbox on the farm. I personally hate them. they slip ,slide, skin knuckles.
That's a good ideaIn a pinch -- precision calipers for making sure your cutters are all exactly the same length so your chain doesn't cut crooked.
I guess theres gonna be a whole lotta shakin goin on. here's what my 10-10S looked like.View attachment 1028898View attachment 1028901
Looks like mostly mud and sludge in the tank, I rinsed most of it out with fresh gas.( new filter went in also)
It did pop on 1 pull but then my spring bend in the recoil came out . I guess my hook wasn't hardy enough.
Look who is in my gas tank! I hate stinkbugs.

There was RTV all around the airbox and old tank gasket. Is that needed for the airbox? I have a new tank gasket, but should I goop something to seal the air side?
Hmm. It was not complete, so I will need to replace or add to it. Any better ideas than RTV?It could be a strange molding they used its like putty and ya can actually soften it up re shape it and use it again. It does need something around there but not fuel tight
Rtv will be fine I'd sayHmm. It was not complete, so I will need to replace or add to it. Any better ideas than RTV?
Hey go big or go home eh . LolI also cut quite a bit off my ridiculously huge dog. it's still kinda big but less so.

last week was discussing my old 88 link chain and why a new 89 would not fit. got the new 92 link chain from Jim Frawley yesterday and it's a winner. glad I didn't do more than a few passes with the bar groove closer I made before the chain arrived as the .058 fits perfect in the worn .050 groove now. no chain tilt but I can still move the chain on the bar with my hands with the chain adjusted and the bar nuts tight.
thanks to everyone who took the time and helped out with suggestions.
