Had four extra reps and figured the mac thread was a good place to use them. More later:smile2:

Its like the fakey Christmas moneys you get from the chamber or clothing store when you spend a certain amount, just make sure you spend it, doesn't matter where or on who, just get rid of it.

I handed out some red a day or so ago, they still have it, looks festive, might hand out some more for the Christmas look.

Been a little while since I dropped by last. Hi everyone...

Charles, do you happen to have that info handy regarding where to get the 790 cylinder bored? I saved all of my pms to the computer but can't seem to find that specific bit of info in any of it. I'll look through them again anyhow just to make sure. In the meantime, feel free to send that info over this way if you happen to stumble upon it.

I did do some driving around and bugged some people, and it led me to a place that I simply do not trust from previous experience with getting parts and such for the Mercury 150 XR-2 outboard on our boat... the guy the other place I stopped by said they're the only place he knows of that can bore the blind (non removable head) cylinder. However, if I ever needed the Super 44A's cylinder bored out, the guy that I talked to can do open (removable head) cylinders. At least I know one place close to home that can do open cylinders. That might come in handy sometime later.

If I do end up having to get it bored at the crappy boat service place, I'm going to talk face to face with the guy that actually does the boring, no two ways about it... I want to know what he's gonna do and exactly how he's gonna do it.

The counter guys that work there are dumber than picket fences... in fact, their combined IQ is probably less than that of a common houseplant... I don't need nor want one of them dropping the cylinder and/or boring it incorrectly... fools do really foolish things that tend to have major repercussions...

This is one of the times I really wish I had my own Bridgeport mill and a good boring bar or a fly cutter... someday... someday...

In other news, I have been quite busy... school and lots of work around the yard, barn, and house on various projects. And I worked a bit (2:30 ish to 9:30 ish) two days ago... we took out an entire wall at the shop that I worked at for a few weeks in the summer. Did some other stuff there too, like sweep floors (hooray!!) Looks like they're adding another service bay... We'll see if that leads to something...

Oh, and Lenny brought us a load of logs... a few pretty good sized ones in the pile too... can't wait to dig into them... should be good firewood...

Apologies for the inane babble, I'll let you guys get back to your Mac talk.
