ProMac 1000 is the same exact saw as the Partner P100 Super.

Bailey's does so have bars. They're the same as the "large Husqvarna" mount. I believe the designation is "D009."

Yah I told them it was the same as the P100 - still couldn't come up with anything. That really didn't seem right to me, that's why I thought I would ask here. Thanks for the info. I bet that will help.

If it helps...My husqvarna 65 is "large mount husky" pattern is indeed D009.

came a crossed these, not a fingerprint on them. now i just need to find the saw to go with.

Well done Wayne - it looks like it is in pretty good shape. Have you had a chance to check the piston and cylinder as yet ?

Chris.

Chris, No need , It has heaps of compression, tomorrow I'll see if runs after I repair the fuel line.
I'm not sure why the dealer removed the coil, I put it back on and had a good spark, hopefully it will run.

Sounds good. I hope it runs well for you. They are a powerful machine when running well. I enjoyed my 805 when I had it.

Guys, spammers are getting smarter. Pay close attention when a post sounds benign enough, but has images or lnks that don't show up in the post correctly. Here's the original, non spam, post, 2nd post in the thread:

My one and only is a Pro Mac 610 that I bought new in 1988 or 1989. It gets used and abused rather than being a garage queen.

Here's our latest spammer, just above (until the mods get to it):

The Pro Mac 850 had a conventional pop up type compression release, according to the IPL the 850 Super does not have a compression release. I am guessing it has the "Q port" like the PM800, modified exhaust port that gives a little relief when turning over at cranking speeds. The 850 Super looks like a transition from the PM850 to the PM800.

Yep. They're back EVERY NIGHT. The same scumbag posts about 8-10 posts around midnight PST. Like clockwork. Always uses a name/number username (last night it was "Nathan80" or similar). Lately he's been using a woman's name. Uses the same birthdate every time (June something, 1990 IIRC) Always has "long" in at least some of his bio info fields.

I've been reporting his posts off and on for at least a week. It may be some sort of bot/automated posting program. Samples bits of posts that have previously been used (not always from the same thread) and almost always has three images (which just show up as boxes with question marks) at the end. Sometimes has "Pioneerguy600" between the last words of the post and the three mystery images. Must've sampled one of Jerry's posts at some point. The mods here have been doing a good job of cleaning out the scum every night/morning. It's always gone by the next day. Bastard is insidious however.....

Guys PLEASE don't quote the spammer's posts (Steve was smart and cut the spam links/images from the posts before quoting them). That preserves the crap (including links and images) that they post. Just report the posts (or ignore them) when they pop up again.

Somethings not right with this. All those saws that you have built and you can't cut one gasket for a 10-10?

Lee everybody needs a good running 10-10. It's mandatory. There are dozens of 10-10 variants. Click this link and find your exact IPL by SN prefix and model #.
