In a small saw score from a week ago ...

... don't look too bad for a $40 runner that only needed a couple minor parts and a decomp valve cleaning.

Runs fine with a cube carb as is. Thank you for educating me. You really are overtrained on that saw.

Not a problem. Joey helped me so i wont take all the credit. Hell, i cleaned out half his workshop with the amount of parts he sent me. After all that work its going to make the next stock saw a cake walk to repair.:D

If it's not too late already, I can swap you a carburetor already set up for the "internal idle adjustment" if you'd like. Send me a PM if you are interested.

Mark

Ill take a look at the saw tomorrow. If I dont feel comfortable drilling/tapping the hole (or just mess it up completely) ill shoot you a pm on that. Thanks

Dennis

Thats great, hopefully in the next few weeks I'll be able to deliver a good running saw to him. Most if the thanks goes out to Fraser and Jim for supplying the parts. I'll keep yall posted with some pics as I progress.

That is one clean saw! Whats the deal with the green oil button? How common is that on a 10 series saw? I changed the top of my 2-10 for the tank/air box/handle top that has the green button. (not sure what that part is specifically called) Im curious if its off a 10-10, not that it really matters.

The green manual oiler button came out on the 10-10S I'm pretty sure. May be on others also but probably just the later model ones.

You'll be able to get it right, I believe in you. Even if you get it wrong, you can patch it and take marks generous offer.
