I paid right at $450 (including tax) for my PM700 with a 20" bar in January 1981. I could have had a V-8, I mean a PM800. MAC dealer/regional distributor talked me out of it. The PM1000 had no appeal to me given its non-MAC heritage. Ron
I picked up another yellow saw, pics to follow, to dark for my phone/camera, it runs on a prime.
What are the odds of me piecing together a SP125? Tracking down all the parts, rotating assembly straight through to the handle wrap etc. It may not be economical but there is none of these saws in the vicinity I live in and they go for stupid money whole online. Thoughts?opcorn:
