post some pics. I might have to get one of these little macs sometime when i feel like starting another project. Iv'e got plenty right now. I will have to make another starter pully for my sp40, the one that is on it broke years ago. it also needs an air filter cover grill.:yoyo:

Whatcha need pics of? 3200 series?

Nothing goes to waste;)

no reason to with that bar it was an oregon bar with very little use now only if that trade would run lol i just pulled it all apart again cleaned out the carb and that fuel line is solid i was able to expand it with air with no leaks also you only remove a mm fuel filter once that was a ##### to get back in. I guess ill have to buy that zama carb wonder if i can just run regular fuel line really dont need or want to invest $35 into a mini mac

Without a doubt get that carb. The zama carbs only have the small fuel inlets, it will take the same size fuel line as the 3818.

Well the saw is up and running but it has a rattling sound at idle

could be loose clutch shoes, my mini mac does the same thing. take the clutch cover off and see if the clutch shoes slips back and fourth with little to no effort on the clutch spider (center part of the clutch). hope this will help.:chainsaw:

so i guess no harm just some 70's music

Probably, but it would not be a bad idea to change it just to be on the safe side.:msp_biggrin: I would also check to make sure it isn't anything else more serious or just a loose cover somewere. just my two cents worth.

Is it a rattle or a "ting ting tiiing ting ting" like someone is ringing a tiny bell? Thats the sprocket spinning around the clutch at idle. I wouldnt be overly concerned with it, all my mini's do that.

I agree about the walbros. I already have a zama on two of my mini's and i plan to get a couple more. one for my other mini and one for my power mac 6.:chainsaw:
