Not quite....speaking of being pulled out of the box, here's a nice 3516. If it can be had and shipped for $50 total. It's worth it....

McCulloch Mac 3516 35cc CM3 Chainsaw Carrying Protector Case Chain Tool Oil | eBay
Dennis, the starting bid is $25. How do you know that it can be "had and shipped for $50"? If I were to bid $50 right now, I doubt I would get it for that. That's MHO. Do you know something that I don't?

Also, the seller doesn't even claim that it runs. "Chainsaw is sold as-is/ untested. Has been sitting in case in basement, untouched, for approx. 5 years."

38cc Mastercraft (poulan2300)

I just picked up one of these for $10.00 compression is 170psi haven't tried to start it yet far too cold outside and the wife objects to running saws indoors! More news and photos later. new clutch, bar and chain!!

The saw NOT running is worth $50 with the case IMO (follow ebay/craigslist, it will prove it) you take the shipping price minus $50 And that gives you your total bid amount. I wouldnt pay more then that but thats me.

Poulan 295

Ill just say that this is a small saw because it is my 3rd smallest saw haha. Traded my friend a Homelite 150 for this. Long story short he needed a running saw so I helped him out. Cleaned the carb on this and replaced the line. just needs a clutch, sprocket, and chain. Gonna see if she runs tomorrow. Perfect piston a cylinder. Has high hours on it tho. I see a wild thing bar:D...I actually have one of those saws that needs to be messed with, I just have to get a splined carb tool. Does the carb on there need one too?

Yes it came out of a 40 yard box parts spread all over I found them all used a little got frustrated and sent to Dennis then he put that awesome nos bar on it

funny how things magically happen isnt it.:msp_scared::jester:

It would be a good idea to on the models with the skinnier line. But this one thankfully had the thicker line. Surprisingly with some good Tygon line I did not have to splice the line. Just fed the line through with a pair of pliers. Usually I need to heat the line to get it on the carb and splice it to get it through the holes even with Tygon. I think the green Poulan's that look like that have the thinner line. Not 100% on it but you'll fin out sooner or later :msp_biggrin:. I had a 2500 that I kept breaking the line on while trying to get it through the small hole to the gas tank. I ended up drilling out the hole that it went through just a tab bit bigger and it really helped me out a TON and still sealed great. If you need to splice it splice the line in half for about 4 in. Then just take off the gas cap and pull it the rest of the way through with a long pair of bent needle noses. BTW these are extremely easy to work on. Just make sure you pay attention on how the throttle line winds in there and hooks up and it is always a little easier to take the handle bar off to get to the right carb mounting screw.
