looks and sounds great, but don't you have a bigger stick to test that on?lol:tongue2::jester:
Lol thanks..... It was the only lose stick on the bottom of the wood pile. It has a tarp bungee corded to death wrapped around all the wood, didnt want to be bothered so I used the girlie stick

I just picked up one of these for $10.00 compression is 170psi haven't tried to start it yet far too cold outside and the wife objects to running saws indoors! More news and photos later. new clutch, bar and chain!!

OK The wife is out to church so I tried to fire this up with fuel down the carb, no go.
I pulled the muffler and put some fuel into the cylinder and off she went, but too fast. Tried to adjust h & l but didn't seem to have any effect. Both h & l are out about 1 turn each.
After it started it would run with fuel down the carb but again too fast, idle adjust screw not touching the throttle lever . Might this be an air leak?
I will get around to photos. This one is a Mastercraft (Canadian Tire) version in a pleasant yellow with chain brake and anti-vibe. Came with a 16" B&C nearly new bar and a nearly new crap 91 safety chain with the big fins.

Lee
-22 C this morning!
Nice saw, old school homie. Kind of reminds me of the MAC 15 of the day. Hows the AV on that baby?
Not bad at all Dennis, I have had Wild things that rattled me more than that thing.
Ahh its a family. I really like these saws
Got to love the vintage stuff. One day when I grow up I have the venture into some older bigger CC saws

Very cool! Some good saws in very nice shape. You should do a group photo of all your Macs.
You'd better start collecting them now...cause i'm gonna get all thats left of em...and I don't trade for Mini Mac's..
