Yeah, ok cool, it's after last time, when I end up with 2 busted seals after 15 minutes... Again hopefully next time things will be better - what with the right tools, better support in vice etc...

Thanks for your reassuring words, though!!! :)
Dont give up man , you learn , the trick is to dont afraid if the end of world comming , ok you make wrong buy another seal and thats all , so simple.
For the tools that you ask , sure you can do the job with simple tools or with other methods, the diference is that the oem tools do the job faster , and in most cases more corectly, a example is that with a seal puller can pull out the seal without damage it , so you can use again the same seal , with a pressure sleeve can put the seal without to take measurements of the deep , just tap until the tool touch the case, but even and with theese specialty tools must do some practice until you learn how to use it correctly, and must know that many of theese tools maybe look very futuristic, but in praxis are not so friendly.

I want to ask have the ms200 t some special dificulty with the seals or something?

The smaller the seals the more difficult to work on.
Yeah i just ask because in my country must be sale about 10 of saws like it, no arborists here, even the farmers that need for cutting branches they buy a cheap chineesee

So no one has those saws that you know of?
No noone, they prefer to buy a ms 180 or something about 150 euros , they need them for clearing apple trees oilolive trees , peach trees , no arborist here , i know only one that he is a pro arborist and open job here, but he was living for years in australia , and come back

Don't worry! I won't give up! That's not my nature... as you say I'll just try again with the new seals. When I first started doing my own car work, I used to really struggle with, say, changing a constant-velocity joint. But now after lots of practice, I know what to hit and where, I find changing them quite easy. Also you CAN use BIG hammers with that job!

The new seals will arrive on thursday, I think. But I'll probably wait till saturday to have another try, since on week day evening, right after work, I'm more likely to rush it again!

We've got a lot of ms200t in the the uk. There's lots of broken ones on ebay uk, where I bought mine from. In fact on my ebay there's probably more ms200 than ms201.

Hopefully when I get mine fixed, it'll be useful for climb/pruning the trees we have in the back garden.

Yes,
.....shipping to Europe is such an adventure !!!!! :happybanana:

So I've got to ask, if you are shipping tools from Europe back to Europe I'm assuming you must be giving really competitive prices :)
