Dang Jeff, you caught me at a bad time. Got to many outside expenses going out this month. I guess I need to go rob a likker store or something..

Same here...

Lol. If you really want it we can work something out. I dont have to start eating Ramen noodles for another month or so, so I have time lol. Might take a smaller saw in partial trade or something. Have some other saws I need to get movin too.

Hmmm....

Nice, I'm into the newer poulans and never seen one of those yet (till you posted about them first time) . Very Cool on the bar too.

Yeah, I had been looking for one of the newer, Black/Red PREDATORS (not the 3314 style), and hadn't seen any, and then just happened to see this one. Thought that it would be even better, cause it's older, and still a PREDATOR. Had never seen one before, and now that I have one, someone has one on ebay........Now I'm keeping my eyes open for a nice, camo REALTREE saw.......

I saw that one on ebay also but it does not come close to yours.

Thinking about putting my Dayton 4Z252 (5200) on Ebay in the next week or so. I would like to see it go to one of the Poulan guys, so feel free to make me an offer before I put it on there. Not crazy about selling it, but feel that I should.
Im not asking anyone to pay me a fortune for this saw, and maybe I shouldnt have tossed the idea up here. But I want it to go to someone here, I can take a little loss on it but not half price. Just make an offer, you wont insult me- and if I feel comfortable with it Ill send it on its way.
And as stupid as it sounds, I dont want to throw a price on it (just make an offer). I had a dealing not go the greatest before because the member thought I was asking twice what it was worth (I didnt know its value), and I dont know the value of this saw. My last 5200 was a FAR cry from this one, and sold for $400 (which I thought was too much).

Ill post up a picture or two, or feel free to PM me. No first dibs or anything on it, whoever gives me fair price first. It is the nicest example of a 4Z252 or similar that I have ever seen. Very little wear or use, a solid 9/10.

***Will trade for 5.56 or .223 ammunition or AR related parts.***

P.M. sent.

I asked my wife. She said silver right off the bat.

So it wasnt your monitor and you must be a cradle robber and got one young enough to see clearly. :hmm3grin2orange:

Tim do you have a SKF number for the 15x35x6 seal. I would like to see if I can find some specs on it and what the coating is. Thanks for Looking.

Roger

For what its worth, I kinda like the seals with the rubber outer coating, they seem to seal any impefections in the bore better. I have never had problems with them anyway.

I couldn't find it Roger but SKF stuff is not well arranged. I did find this one though. For the other I guess you would have to contact Rocket. The 5840 seal should be available from a bearing dealer in a day or so.

SKF 5840
15 X 35 X 7 mm
single lip (no dust seal) nitrile
Here is a copy of tech specs for their radial shaft seals

I tried ordering that one already and there was no stock until March.
I think I will give the first one you posted a call tomorrow morning. I will let you know what they say. Thanks again Tim.

Well if you cant find em locally, NATIONAL Part # 15X35X7

Looks like a 6mm wide seal is tough to find and the 7mm is much eaiser. I'm sure the little bit wider seal wont hurt anything.
