Picked up some more saws over the weekend....

Got a 3800, a 2150, a Pro 220, part of a Wildthing, a super 250A, and a Counter Vibe Super 25. Also 5 Stihl parts saws. Everything for $100. Then I quickle slapped the Stihls on Craigslist, and got my $100 back........I love gettin' free stuff......

Looks good. Was that a all green 245? Other wise I'm trying to figure out why you painted the air and tank cover green as well.

What would be a reasonable price for a poulan 2000 tophandle that seems to be in good shape? Thanks for any info. All you poulan lovers be sure and take a look at the classifieds.

50 to 70 if i wanted it bad and they had already done the lines carb and air filter ...if not about 40 is the most i would go unless the saw was mint looking...all depends on what and how bad you want it!

I bought this saw in 1997 for $75. I went into TSC to buy a weed whacker and this saw was setting on top of a bunch of oily newspapers. There was a sign that said $75 as is "Leaks Oil". There was oil all over the saw. I felt of the compression and bought it.

After getting it home, the original chain was still sharp. I gassed and oiled it and fired her up. It was set real rich on the high end so I applied my magic screwdriver to the task. I cut until the tank was empty. I have used it ever since. I had to put a fuel filter in the tank about six years ago and 3 months ago I had to put diaphragms in the Walbro HDA carb. It has the original safety chisel chain. Seems to cut well if sharp.

Yes, this one was all green. Found a near perfect match at NAPA......in their equipment color chips, under Euclid. I guess that was an equipment manufacturer...

NICE!!! Is that your son in law SDA 25 deterant?:D Remind me not to go pokin around in deep east Texas.

Gregg,

It was my Daughter's "boyfriend" that straight gassed my S25DA.....but no, that is my "Hog Gun" (Feral Hog Problem in Texas).

For a "deterrent".....a crushing hand shake and a I'm looking into your soul stare (when I first meet them) is usually enough.

O.K. for some chainsaw content: My S25DA is alive again and cutting well. Thanks to everyone that helped....whether with parts or information.

Flint.
