The Poulan 3450 and 3750 are pretty much the same saw except for the piston & cylinder

The saw is made up like a 4000

Yeah, I like this saw a lot. I have only cut a few skids with it so far so it hasn't gotten a good test yet.
I did just finish that Micro with a brake though. I cleaned it up and under that dirt was a low hour saw. The original 12" bar tells the story of the use this saw got. I put a new fuel line on it, filter and adjusted the carb a bit. It runs good but needs more tuning. Only reason I could think that this saw was at the dump was maybe cause the starter pawls werent engaging (wd40 fix) or that the fuel line was broken. Either way someone tossed a nice saw.
I also have 2 S25DA projects going...with 4 saws. 2 S25DAs, 2 S25CVAs. Gonna get 2 good runners out of 2.

Two CVA's. One early "very curved" 25 on the far right (corroded). One later "less curved" 25 (second from right). IIRC, the non-CVA Craftsman 25 family saws like my 2.1A are even "less curved" than that saw. Almost as "straight" as the CVA handles.

I have three s25cv's, two that need pistons due to metal transfer. The third is in excellent shape with a new 16" bar and non safety chain all run, one needs a fuel line and maybe a carb kit. They look nice and I'd hate to scrap them, if somebody's interested let me know. I'd like $100 + shipping for all three or trade for Husky 2100 parts. Also if somebody wants a nice Craftsman/Poulan 3700 (18" bar and new non safety chain) that looks good and runs great in it's original Craftsman black case. I'd like $100 + shipping for it or trade for Husky 2100 parts. I will try to get pic's in a few days.

Right on Aaron. The newer on the 2S25DAs has a blown p/c, the parts saw is good, just nasty case. The complete CVA i just got yesterday, needs isolators, the other one has good antivibe but puked its wrist pin and the clips took care of the p/c. both CVAs are points, the newer 25 is ss, gonna see if I can mount it on the ss coil on the points jug. I know the mounting is different, as are flywheels but I think Paul managed too do it.

Can anyone tell me if the Poulan Pro 375 is the same as the the 4000? Thanks, Dan

No, But its close. :) The 375 is the same as the 3700. The 395 is the same as the 4000. Although they all look similar. Since the 375 & 395 both use the same parts that were used on the 4000. Like the air filter setup, extra side outlet on the muffler, and I Think the heavy duty recoil starter palls or dogs. Only difference is the CC.
But They are a great saw!!! I have both models also.

Gregg,

Gregg has some awesome saws! The 3700 and 4000-375 and 4000 are great. I havent found a 3700 yet, but I do have a "custom" 3.7 that suits me good for now. The 375 is another one Im looking for. I do have a 395FP that will be next. Just needs a quick going over and cleaning. Runs great but i always go thru them. Heres a few pics.

Joe, I didn't know or remember, more than likely, mind fails me more all the time:laugh: that you had a 395. Those are a little tougher to find than the 375. Nice saw! The red Craftsman looks great with that 4000 air filter on it! I wish those were easier to find. I did find one once, on ebay. I must have got lucky and seen it as soon as it was listed. Cause they don't last long on there, if and when they do show up.
