Well having a 570 sitting on the shelf with the 32" sugi bar for the past 5 years prompted me to do a little reshuffling of my current lineup.
Sold the 570 to a contractor who will convert it to a 575. Gave my Husky top trigger with 14" to my son and bought a MS261. The 261 came with a 20" bar but have switched it out for a 18" Sugi.. Then the MS250 will be, parts on order, my 14" bar screamer.
So far the 261 is very impressive with the 20" but I have a 20" 362 and 25" 362 to cut the larger stuff.
There was nothing wrong with either Husky just wanted to standardize as earlier I gave the daughter a couple Husky's that were older, one a pro 20" the other a farm model 18" for her firewood gathering trips. Both live 2.5 - 3.5 hours away from the farm and can get to national/state forests for permit cutting.

Sounds weird perhaps but that MS250 with a 14" I guess with a 3/8 lp would be my to go saw, the others would mostly shine brightly at the shelf.
Damn I wanted to stop at 300...

The large (around here) saw shop also has a tree service and the owner outfits the crew with a couple 250's the same way. I thought I was going to get laughed out of the shop but T**** pointed the other employee to exactly the configuration and parts required. Said it's going to be a screamer .. guess I'll see and report back.

So part 1 is done haven't had the chance to use it except for startup. Sort of bad news is I've only been able to get that bloody safety chain but it's not a priority right now.
