Well my deal came down today and I havent unloaded the truck yet, but there were some Pioneers in the bunch I got today. A couple complete ones and some boxes of parts.

I think ones a P41 I'll have to see what else is there.

Would a 400 be good find? I think thats what one is.

 I can't wait to see what you got.

Here are some pics I took today of one of the Fil's old saws. I might try getting it running, it would be fun to cut with the old girl.

Here are the Pioneers that I picked up today. Feel free to let me know whats what with them. Looks like 2 P41's, a P-50, 2 P28's and a 400 for complete saws. The P50 is missing the clutch cover though.

Looks like the remains of a P25, a 1074 and a P28, in the box's are the remains of a 1200A, 2071 and 1074.

Mark, I might be interested in that brown 2071 top cover if you don't have any plans for it... I have a project saw-in-a-box that's awaiting a paint job and reassembly but the top cover was busted to pieces. Same story with the Holiday II 970 I have.

That 400 is a heck of a nice saw. I love the old Pioneers of that design; they're just really unique.

I don't mind the missing clutch cover on the P50 at all. Those P41 don't look like they need a ton of work. Of course looks can be decieving.

I probably wouldn't come out of the shop for a month if I made a haul like that Mark. NICE. I have an Amish, Husky- Dolmar dealer that's been in business for ever that's near me that has a semi trailer piled about knee deep in old trade in's and parts saws that I visit every now and then and bring home a pick up truck load home. No electric, I have to use a flashlight to search with.

I got a brown cover off a 970 if you want it....

Dang Mark, I didn't think it was possible to have that many Pioneers hiding out in one place in this part of the country. That P50 is like mine, its one of the first ones. It has the low filter cover, and the non-rubber handle. I think I have a clutch cover if you need.

Yeah thats what I thought, that there wasn't that many around here and thats kinda why I grabed them up.

I'm going to check a couple out and maybe keep one or two and move the rest on down the road. I know the 400 holds no intrest to me.

Your welcome to come take a look if you like.

Brad, if I don't need that cover, we can work something out I'm sure.

Your 655 is more than welcome here, after all its basically a P62.That's a nice looking saw. The piston and rings are still available new. They run about $75 for the piston/w rings.
Not exactly cheap, but a small price to pay to get a saw like that in top shape again.

Mark,it would seem to me that the sharks are in a feeding frenzy LOL! A fella comes upon a few Pioneers and all hell breaks loose!HAHAHA.Good to see what you found by way of pictures.I may need a couple of things you have pictured in your parts boxes. You do have a a few saws that look like good candidates for rebuilds. Thanks for looking for those hard to find accessories I appreciate that a lot.Congratulations Mark!

Are there any Pioneers in that semi trailer?

Mark, I should tell you that I think it was Brendon(propliner) who mentioned to me that the P28's were the first small size Pioneer's that had the anti vibe system on them. Some of those anti vibe parts that are in good condition would be good to have on hand, rubber bushings and the plastic trigger lock mechanisms. Those plastic air filters whatever model they fit are very, very, hard to find in good condition as in without cracks and chips missing. They go for quite a bit on Ebay.Honestly I don't think you would have much of a problem getting rid of any good parts to fellas on this thread alone.

Larry, can I call you Larry? Lawrence is alot to type out for me.. LOL

Yes I know that there are alot of part there, and I have just about decided to just keep the P-41's for myself and let you guys have first crack at the rest.

The one P-41 is scored and the other is good, so it looks like the scored one will be parted out for the others. The P-50 needs its top handle for one thing.

The other stuff I just need to get to look over closer and decide what to do then. I don't really want to just offer up pieces in general as I will just be left with the junk to dispose of myself. Maybe better in lots...
