Here's the pictures he sent me of the saw. I'll get some more pictures when it shows up at my house.

Nice lookin saw!! Do you need a bar for it? Below Marks got a 24".... there fun on a P62.
Ed, I just placed a nice 24" .058 D007 mount bar in the swap meet thread if anyones interested.....
I've already got a couple 24" spares, otherwise I would grab it in a heartbeat. I'm sure someone on this thread may want it.

The bar on it in the picture comes with it. I didn't ask what size it was after I seen the pictures of such a clean saw.

Nice looking saw. You should be happy with it. Mike does good work and seems to be a great guy. I just got a saw from him recently and its top notch.

I really like these pioneers and gotta get some of them soon.

I think I'm going to need to get another one so I won't use that one much. I just need to get some decals and an outer spike and set it on a shelf.

That's a great looking saw !A Western to boot! The Pioneer Gurus will tell you that if you have one,you will need another and another and .........

That clutch cover will not accept an outer spike. Decals are available for the P62 though.

Pioneer Trinket

Fellas I put a post up on the craigslist/ebay thread concerning a little trinket I picked up a ways back.It would go good with a nice small Pseries saw.I was happy with mine, but then I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff. The box that it comes in is original so it has a weathered look to it,but the item itself was in new condition. P.S. I am not connected to the seller

Lawrence, I have two of those saw cradles. One sits bolted onto the front rack of my quad with a 1074 on it and the other is in my RV with a P26 aboard. Bar oil goes in the bottle and sharpening tools go inside. I just bring a small jerry can of premix along and I always have firewood.

Brendon

Two of them! That's fantastic! I won't be using mine though,it's going to sit on a shelf with a nice 1073 in it,or one of the other small Pioneers I have.

I have a question for you Pioneer experts. I just picked up a P62 on ebay it is in good lookin shape and is supposed to run well. My question is does anyone here know where I can find a set of rings for one of these. It is supposed to have 140psi, so it should still be pretty strong, but I would like to have a set ready just in case it drops much lower. Any help would be great. I'm curious to see how this cuts next to my poulan 655 pro. Probably not much difference, but I have never run a pioneer version of these. Thanks guys.

I seen that one on e-bay. You can get rings from Rottmans, but with 140 on three pulls I would say its probably fine. They had 150 new. I never ran a 655, but from what I hear they are about the same.

That's what I thought too, but I like to have a set handy. I have an extra top end & rings for my 655BP even though it is healthy too. I have to say that more and more I am picking one of these up for regular use along with my 750 Homies and 056MII Stihls. They are Strong runners.

oilers?

P61, How can the bar oiler be cleaned? How do i go about this? How do i adjust? It has a manual pump as well , Thanks

Pull the clutch off. There should be aluminum plate covering the pump. Once you take the plate off you will see the pump. You can use compressed air to clean it off. You can adjust the pump from the bottom of the saw. Unscrewing the adjuster will allow more oil to flow.

thanks next Q

I ran my P61 out of fuel,it sped up abit then i turned it off . After refuleing its runnin the same ive cleand fuel tank filter had top off carb had little bit of dust/dirt in there new plug etc it still running the same stalls all the time even between blipping throttle, has to be restarted with choke etc all the time, Im not that keen on adjusting mixture screws What else could it be? Ive ran with fuel cap loose its the same??
