MacMaster-Carr has rubber isolators used for base mounting small electric motors. If I remember correctly, they had a small stud on each end of the rubber cylinder. About 1/4"-20 size.

Maybe one of them would work. They were used on a Lombard front wrap.

Good call! Took a look at the website and found this page:

McMaster-Carr

Are all 4 the same size? If so, I think I have one or two left on the saw that I can measure off of....

Yes they are all the same. You will have to find something with 12/24 thread, or drill and retap the handle, or rethread the buffer.....

Yep, I do that on some of my work saws. I have that on one of my 655's now. But I have the style outside cover with the outlet more downward.

Ed, i am having fun now for sure, i fixed a K700 for a customer, fixed an Ariens Snow blower and sold a Toro Personnel Pace this weekend. I got a power washer fixed with a 9 hp honda engine 3100 psi. i put the 455 together and been playing with all of these parts. and watched the Ravens kick Denver up. not sure if i slept though )

farmsaw

hey guys i ran into a deal on a nicelooking farmsaw 1980 model it runs fine the guys wants 200 for it i dont know anything about farmsaw is it worth 200 i think i can trade for it .

Normally I'd say $100/$150 for a farmsaw, but they been fetching good money on ebay lately.
If it's super clean and runs good, then I'd say yes, but definitely no more.

I can buy them for $50 all day. Chainsaw prices are funny.:msp_confused:

Hi guys. There's an old IEL/Pioneer on my Craigslist. Near as I can tell it's a HB, but not totally sure. I really don't have the extra CAD money or I'd be after it, but maybe someone here is interested. It's about an hour from me, but if you can make a deal with the seller, I'd be willing to pick up and ship if needed.

The saw does run, it swivels in 8 different positions so the carburator stays level, I tried to find out some information on it and I had no luck even finding another like it. It is rare. Call or txt Jerad, 651-329-55two6 Antique, Pioneer, Chainsaw, Vintage, Rare, Collector, IEL,

Very nice HB, shipping is brutal on those saws.

P42

My P42 is running .404 with a 28" bar and skip tooth chain. I want to change it to 3/8 with a 24". Is the rim I need just a typical Oregon rim? Also I've been watching for weeks on eBay for a NOS 24" Pioneer bar. Why so hard to find?

Thanks,

Gerry

Bryce (customchainsawparts on feebay) has many NOS Pioneer bars. If you don't see what you want in his listings, contact him and ask if he has what you want.
