regards to how the 372 compares to the 036 an 667. having dans saw here spured me to refine my 2 saws .
ie cutting set up ,oiling, carb settings
on the 667. i can honestly say they are in top form and im proud to own both of them. the 036 is fast becoming the saw i pick up when a little saw wont do.
cant say that they cut with dans saw.
but they arnt put to shame either.
this 372 pp is a fine saw ,think i could recommend it.
:)

Well thats good to hear I can't wait to have my 385 done in a couple weeks I will bw sending it on her way to Dan's..

Later Rob..

I just realized that Dans "Power Ported" saws don't have their own labels like KD's,and Dennis..I think we should come up with something maybe he'll like the idea..What do ya think?

Later Rob..

Rob,
I totally agree Dan needs some kind of logo to put on his saw's.
I for one would be proud to have one on my PP saw's.
I ran my PP2149 with a husky 262 today both running 18'' bars pulling 3/8 chain and it was no contest the 262 went home with it's tail between it's legs.Wonderfull job Dan Thanks

I agree Eric he definetly needs a logo,I can't wait to get my 385 back from him so I can test it out in some 25" DBH red oaks...We need to figure a way to come up with some designs for the PP saws??Any suggestions??

Decals? I never gave that I thought,I have just been using my die grinder and making two large letter P's in the top cover.Come to think of it the stickers would be a lot easier.
If you guys want to design a decal, then by all means go for it.

Dan

you will have to find some one more artistic than me.
Dose anyone remember who did Ken Dunns they look real nice.
I'm thinking something with a big gator eating a dozer

Dan,

I'm trying to get some ideas of a logo for you as we speak I figured all the others have them why not you..I guess the die grinder does the trick either way lol...Hopefully some of the guys can help out and we'll come up with something for the PP saws..

Eric,

Thats what we need to do is find out who did KD's and Dennis's logos I guess I'll email each of them..

Later Rob..

I just sent a PM to Steve hopefully I hear back from him soon,or maybe he'll email Dan with more info..

its the fastest of the three. like ive said before ,looks dont matter to me,just work output and anything that helps make it easier on these old bones. this is a real fine saw.:)

Hey Dan thanks for buildin' me a bad a$$ PP385XP this thing is a animal I could'nt get any times today cause no one wanted to come outside and help me it's -15* here today, but I went and made a few cuts in the pile of pine I have out back 15" DBH stuff and I can tell you one thing there is a very big difference from before, hopefully I can get some times by the end of the week..Here s a pic of my snowy back deck and of course the saw itself with the small Husky bar,the next pics I take will have the 32" incher on there since I have some big stuff coming up this week..Thanks Again.I would recomenned anyone who wants a saw built to send it to Dan he does a excellent job and has a quick turn around time..

Now that I have had the chance to put some time on my PP372 I have chunked approximately 10 full cord's with it. I just can't say enough about this saw it performs flawlessly and Man dose she run !!!!
I am truly impressed with this saw.If you guys could hear and feel this saw run and cut you would know what I mean , You can tell that Dan goes the extra mile .
I believe Dan told me he spends approximately 12 hours in the barrel alone and it sure shows..I'm going to try to inter a few local saw races this year hopefully with the help of a Larry Steiner (he know where and when all the events are held) I'm positive their is enough saw not sure if their enough operator or chain though.
After having Dan Power port the 372 and the two 2149's I am so impressed with Dan's work I just ordered a 346xp.
IMO no one is offering the improvement that Dan provides for the Money NO ONE. IMO Dan may be as fast or faster than master Dunn him self.

Just wondering who has the PP372 that Dan was sending around for guys to try.
Last I knew EricE had it maybe he still dose just courious what he thinks of it ?
