Dan,
Did you get that 2171 tuned up yet ?
I'm curious to the difference in it and the 372

Geez Dan and Creep thats a awfully big bar you got on that little 024 Super..I can come down anytime and you can try to out cut my slow PP385 just tell me when..:D So how is the 2171 coming along these days?Oh yeah so whats the Creep dropping off for PP'ing or is he on pick up..

Later Rob.

Creep was here and did spend the night.I think that it was the first time that he ever came here that he didn't drop off a saw for porting.I did send him out to my wood pile with a truck load of saws.I told him that he had to earn his supper. He did cut me enough fire wood to last me for about a month but I think that I lost out on the deal.Man can that boy eat,I think that I found some one that can eat more then I do.
Eric
I did run my 2171 against the creeps 372 and yes mine is faster. What would you expect,I cant have people that I build saws for having one that is faster then mine, can I?
Rob
Just bring that slow PP385 down here and I will bury it in so many chips from that 024 Super Super that we will need my dozer to dig it out. With that small bar that I have pictured it zipped through some 20" red oak in about 1/2 hour.

You know what would really set that 024 Super Super off?  A full-wrap front handgrip and the larger, matched inner and outer dawgs!

Glen

Well Dan it's good to hear that you and the Creep had a good weekend, and that you should have enough firewood for a while since the Creep attacked the woodpile..I don't know I think that 024 Super Duper AV needs a 47" Cannon Super Bar and maybe some .404 chain, and some monster dawgs..:D..Don't you worry my slow PP385 will bury you with so many chips you'll think your getting attacked by killer bees..you won't know what hit ya'.So any new saws your working on??Now here's a saw that gets takin care of clean it everyday after work with the blow gun and sometimes a little carb or brake cleaner..

Later Rob.

I received my PP346 today, Hey it's not even Christmas yet.
I haven't put the B/C on it yet. Every thing looks good though. looks like the barrel has been turned down and every thing.
Thanks Mr. Henry I will get it in the wood tomorrow

Sounds good Eric atleast Santa did'nt show up on your doorstep with it..Let us know how that slow PP346 cuts..

Lost PP372

Hi
Does anyone know the whereabouts of my long lost PP372 Demo saw? I haven't seen that saw since I sent it out to Huskyman. I do remember that Tony sent it to Eric E.
Does anyone know Eric E ?
Maybe I dont have a PP372 Demo anymore.

Tony
No Eric E isn't woodsjunkie,he was living here in Pa but I have no idea if he is still around.
I hope you didn't think that I was holding you responsible for the saw. That is not the case at all.You did ship it to Eric and he did receive it but I have not heard from him in many months.I did send him a PM but I never had a reply.
By any chance do you still have the UPS receipt from when you shipped him the saw. If I had his address it would save me some research time.

Eric E.

Hi Dan, don`t know Eric E. or where he may be found but I noticed that he posts mostly in the Commercial forum. Just posted there six days ago, 7/13. Maybe a forum moderator can help you reach him. Somehow I don`t always get all of my PMs, usually happens if I open a new one and there are multiple new ones. Good luck in getting your saw back, hopefully just an oversight.

Russ

dan im trying to figure as close as possible the time i shipped it. if u have any idea ,let me know as i plan to start trying monday to find a record of where it was shipped. thanks tm

PP372

Dan,

I just wanted you to know I sent a PM to Eric E. a few hours ago telling him to get intouch with you about the saw,if he is the one that still has it..Hope it's a help for you

Rob.

Dan this saw touched my heart personally and this is like a child missing. Maybe we can put the saw on milk cartons or something.

The truth is I traded it for this:

PP372

I wanted to say thanks to all of you people that sent PMs to Eric E.Eric did contact me and he asked me to have you people stop flooding his mail box with PMs.He also asked where to ship the saw to.

Tony
Your offer to pay for that saw was above and beyond your responsibility and I feel that offer should be rewarded.
I know that you are not in a financial position to buy another saw and that you wanted to keep that one,so I have instructed Eric to ship that saw back to you.
As of now you own a PP372. The only thing that I will ask for is that you buy me one beer.I only drink about 6 a year anymore.
If I ever get to NC can you find me a place to park my motor home for a few days.?

Chivalry is not dead! If you get anywhere near Oregon. And since it is only one, it will have to be a good one.
