I'm getting one with a lot but it will be several days before I can pick it up. It's got a 28" bar on it I believe. It's complete but will need some work, probably needs the fuel system refurbished

Ok im extremely interested in the saw if you ever decide to part with it in the future. The saw sounds real cool. I'm working on a parts super 660 that I'm trying to turn into a runner. Just waiting on a chip conversion since it's missing the points, condenser and points cover and got Carter ND rebuild kit coming Have a great day northwest:chainsaw:

The jb weld has held, but not sure how long it will last though. The 90 out of tank is pointing towards carb and needs to point strait up atleast. Could not budge the fitting even with a cheater pipe. I quit before I broke anything else. The hose has a lot of tension on it because of the orientation of the fitting and thinking that's why it broke the 1st timeView attachment 970663View attachment 970664View attachment 970665
I sure wouldn't have any faith in that repair. Not because of your handiwork, just JBweld repairs in general. I wonder if the typical pump cover with the plastic could replace that and fit under the filter cover.

The jb weld did not hold. Saw would only run on prime and wasn't pulling gas into carb. Eventually the repair broke. Luckily I found the part on fb and it's being shipped to me. Ezra suggested the same thing but I would have to block off the broken piece by tapping it and putting in a plug or some other means of sealing the hole

There was a compatible plastic part but I would of had to block off the old fuel inlet. For 20$ shipped I'm glad I was able to get the right part. Now I can tinker with the old part and see how to make it work with the plastic part and blocking off the old supply incase one breaks down the road

Hey guys, anyone know what an acceptable compression test range would be on 82/88cc remington saws? I got my tester back and was going to try to compression test a few saws. Not sure if it's possible to test as the spark plug access is tough to begin with. Thanks!

I'd say 110 psi should be minimum to run.

I have a Super 75A that runs and cuts on 110. Another that runs with 90 but I haven’t tried to cut with it.

I’ve had some really old Power Products run and cut with only 75. But the CR is likely in the 6:1 range. Will run on Coleman fuel I suspect. [emoji57]

The chip I put in the super 660 works good, just having hesitation issues from idle to wot. Going to disassemble the carb and look for gasket leaks and maybe tweak the fuel metering lever. Not a fan of carter carbs especially the carter ND.

I did put an aftermarket 090 carb on my 754 for a minute, they run good with it but , it doesn't work for the air cleaner or cover the cover could be used with an extension.
