I'm fascinated by the thought of a hybrid, but love the torque of the 046.

You should seek out an opportunity to run a ported 385/390. Not much bigger than an 046, but speed and torque? Yup
(Nothing against an 046, but a ported 385/390/288 is something a chainsaw guy needs to experience)

I think a ported 385/90 is about as sweet as a ported saw gets..amazing
